ralfgarnett
Good post pickmeup. I guess when it comes out of the blue as it it did for me and Ralph its hard because there was no warnings, no building up to it, no rehearsal and no contingency plan. Its like a bullet and it hurts bad. Different people have different ways of dealing with it but I would say for those who just go straight off on an adventure holiday, looking on the bright side and seeing it as an opportunity then there wasn't much love there in the first place. Also in our case, hoping for a reconciliation in the first few weeks is going to be difficult when you paddling down the Amazon or half way up Everest or what ever adventure holiday you choose. How you doing Ralph ? I remember once being halfway up the Orrinoco but my mum caught me and took all my other Wombles soft toys off me which was a shame as Madame Cholet was next, but yes your correct in what you say Richie, not been too good past couple of days been ruminating a lot about why, if, but, and also how someone that claims to love you so much can be so ruddy cruel cold and down right heartless, this is part of the shock of it all, thy change from hot to cold in a couple of hours with no reason I just don't understand and not sure if I ever will tbh, must admit our trip to Spain is distracting me a bit as I love doing research in to new places so finding bars and places to eat, I am looking forward to the trip and my mate im going with is a top geezer but I still wish I was going with my wife, also been getting a bit fed up about my birthday a week today, I know I wont hardly see a soul all day and wont get any presents or cards, a bit childish I suppose but its making me feel a bit sorry for myself thinking of years gone by before all my family died and the times spent wit her on my birthday and ay xmas and that will be another day on my own but I will just have to bite the bullet and get on with it, I keep thinking about the last holiday we had together in May we had a great time it was almost magical, and then out of no where the bomb dropped, we were supposed to be going back next week but she pulled the plug on that ages ago now, oh well tine for a cup of tea and a custard cream now that's really pushing the boat out and living on the edge hey Richie ?. Author Richiebuoy
To be honest, I'm hitting the tea hard myself but so far, and I don't know how, but I've managed to avoid the custard creams...... on a more sinister note, I have taken to pot noodles
ralfgarnett
Blimey Richie your on the hard stuff, I thought I was pushing boundaries by hitting the custard creams, it all started so innocently, someone in the park was passing around the rich teas and I thought I could handle it, from there I went on to jammy dodgers and even tried experimenting with hobnobs, now I find myself a jabbering wreck who thinks of nothing more between getting up and going to bed of the different types of biscuits I could score with, yestersay afternoon I had a malted milk at the same time as a ginger snap, wow man I thought the sky was exploding around me, but here I am today covered in crumbs and dried up sugary custard its just not worth it man I need help. Author Richiebuoy
Blimey you are in a mess, have you spoken to your doctor about this ? to be honest there is no substitute for this, you need to gradually cut down or go cold turkey, obviously not on Christmas day though. I'm similar with the pot noodles, I just thought I'd have one because it was a quick easy cheap meal with no washing up, before I knew I was on one a day and I cant seem to stop .... LifesontheUp
Lol, thought one of you'd start talking bangers and mash for a minute. Anyway, are either of you excercising? If not, why not? Gets you out there, work some steam off and does make you feel better believe it or not. I must admit I found the punch bag helpful at certain times

Author Richiebuoy
Thats great, I just got a new mountain bike too, great fun and easy on the joints. Anyway, I finally got some good news, I think, my great uncle Jacob from Nigeria has passed away at the age of 93 and left me his entire fortune of £23 billion pounds. To be honest I never met him, if fact to be honest I didn't even know he existed until this morning when i got the email. In fact nobody in my family knew of him. Never the less it must be right as they have my name and email address. So all I have to do is send my bank details and the £400 administration fee and the money will be in my account by tomorrow tea time and I'll be RICH beyond my wildest dreams......
