90s kid Posted February 7, 2016 Share Posted February 7, 2016 I actually prefer coffee for a first date. Or grabbing a drink rather than sitting through a dinner. The casual environment helps me feel less nervous. I'm a woman, by the way. I personally don't need a fancy dinner or a nice ambience to have a great date. And a man spending money on me doesn't make me feel cared for. If he looks me in the eye, gives me great conversation, and generates a chemistry, that's enough to impress me. One I never saw again and the second one I only saw once more...
