I disagree about its ok for a guy to be fat and not a girl. I train and go to the gym to stay healthy for myself and attactive to women and I expect the same in return.

 

Its guys like that , that give real nice guys a bad name.

 

I meet all those qualities of a nice guy according to you, the difference is I dont go around bitching about it, i go out and get a date

Get a tailor. Seriously. Well made/fitting clothes will only make you appear slimmer. I have to buy most dresses and suit jackets 2 sizes too big, and get it altered to fit my waist. I also have to buy pants one size too big, and have them tailored as well.

woah...with the bitchiness...woah. I don't think she was suggesting that at all, and there's certainly no need to have digs at each other. Claws away. Meow. Honestly, because I am, I don't care if a person is overweight, or whatnot, not a big deal to me, and I'm not going to call someone out on it over the internet, after assuming that they suggested we all look like that. She didn't once suggest it.

^ then both people need to have been upfront about what they were after. Don't advertise yourself as looking for a LTR when you want a hookup.

 

And I don't mean to insult people for what they like, but lets face it, there have been three days of fat girl bashing and there are people of both genders who've said things like "gross" and "lazy" in reguards to people who are over weight, and aside from myself no one has said, wait a minute, I'm over weigt and I'm not lazy and I resent being called gross.

 

So yeah, it hits a freakin nerve. And no, no one is knocking down doors to take me out on a date. And yeah, if I had hours to spend in a gym and didn't mind flaunting my chest I'd probably be able to change that. But I don't have hours to spend in a gym and I tend to dislike flaunting my assets.

 

So forgive me.

Don't kid yourself, we are attracted to looks as well. There ain't enough money or power in this world that would make me even touch a man I don't find physically attractive. But of course men tell themselves this huge lie in order to feel better about themselves. Women judge men on looks just as harshly, so unless you have a zillions dollars you ain't got a chance in hell to attract a good looking woman unless you look equally as good.

Just in here you make assumptions about skinny girls like others make assumptions about overweight girls... you are doing the same thing you are complaining about.

And for the record I have seen plenty overweight women with really hot boyfriends, look through a bride catalogue and tell me all those women getting married are exclusively skinny.

And no, I don't think everyone here is plus sized, but I do think that there is an awful lot of self righteous "I'm in shape and you should be too" going on.

 

The picture was an example of an attractive plus sized woman. The question was how is she so disgutsting? Apparently because she's fat and lazy. . . .

I have a small waste in proportion to my hips and very large boobs for my frame. That isn't something working out will ever be able to change. But thanks for the much worse than being overweight. This is making me feel worse and worse.
