How do i let this girl down easy???

alphamale

Recommended Posts

My argument is that it's only an obligation to let someone down after you've consummated a relationship with sex. If not, there shouldn't be any shame or anything about how you end it.

Well, not obligation but how about being sensitive to the feelings of the other person...you CAN always use language that would hurt less but mean the same.... no need to be hurtful and saying "I am just being honest"-that phrase is too often used as an excuse for being insensitive and rude, jmho.

Personally speaking, the fact that alphamale dumped this woman via text isn't what's so aggravating, it's the attitude that he's taking -- that women get all "crazy" over this kind of stuff, rationalizing his actions, putting him in the right.

Then you got people saying that she didn't put out, so what can you expect? Like this woman deserved a text dump or something.

And seriously, until you realize that you have to treat people with kindness and respect, you will never have a satisfying and meaningful relationship.

I was about to respond to spider's post in a similar way, Sharla. Most women don't realize that men lose attraction to a woman the longer she withholds sex. My theory is that he lost interest when it took too long. Withholding sex usually has the negative effect of making a guy lose interest in a woman and start looking toward other sources for comfort (i.e. another woman or porn).

Yeah ok then....tell that to every single guy I have ever been with who waited minimum a month and half to have sex with me including my current guy whom I am still going strong with. That's a flat out lie. It NEVER has the opposite effect on a guy who is clearly into you from day one, it only makes him even hotter for you.

In this case he never "lost" interest, in order to lose something you have to have it to begin with.

Way to go on the text dump, classy!

100% agreed.

Maybe Im nuts, but all the women Ive dated offer me a home cooked meal within a week. She said NO to that? I think between that and no sex, text breakup was fine.

Again, its common courtesy and flat out rude. I know you wouldn't prefer to be broken up with through text.

it wasn't a "break up"....it was a "i don't want to see u anymore" - there is a huge difference

look i just didn't care about her that much, ok?

That's precisely why she refused to cook for you and sleep with you, she sensed you were not into her and was studying you.

What I'd like to know is, why are the crazy ones flocking to you?

i don't know i've got like a crazy girl beacon on me head

no matter what sex you are if you've gone out on 5 or 6 dates with someone and you HAVE NOT HAD SEX and they tell you they don't want to continue then you should just accept it and not get pissed off or irate

because you texted her combined with how you said it and that was rude. I think most would agree that picking up the phone and telling a person, "I just need to be on my own, I don't think this is what I want right now" or something along those lines is not only decent but the adult thing to do. I've dumped men like that and they were understanding and some became more persistent others got it. Typically that is how you dump someone when you truly don't want to hurt them, especially after 6 dates. Considering you took out a thread asking how you should do it it's sort of strange that you went so far off to the other end of the spectrum.

Did she do something to hurt your feelings?

Well, I can't see the Neon sign from here, so I think you're safe.

Was this a set up? Where did you meet this chicky? Set up meaning did someone introduce you two, not set up as in malcious..

Exactly!

Scary.. Hope she doesn't text you again.

Perhaps because alphamale likes the drama...look, he chronicles his different dates on LS and asks people their opinions...EVERY DATE...what man does that?

He could have just told this woman the truth earlier on but instead he chose to ENDURE her company( 5 dates, was it?) because apparently he did not have the courage to be truthful

I am curious though, he has acted just like the women that these "nice guys' hate...how come he is not being called out? what is this "male solidarity" of some type?...please...

I will give him this weekend, he will come up with another drama....

Wow, you didn't have the decency to just call her and tell her over the phone? How old are you? Regardless of how you feel about her, we're talking about having respect for people. If I have sons, I'll make sure to teach them better than that.

"I just need to be on my own, I don't think this is what I want right now"

"I just need to be on my own" is a flat out lie. LYING ISNT THE ADULT THING TO DO. Thats a shame that youre advocating lying. Theres women here that are telling Alpha that he should be softer in his approach, but cant come up with anything that is honest. Is no one here capable of being honest and can deal with their own guilt? Or maybe admit that the CANT come up with a way of telling the real truth in the "gentle" way theyd like?

Its only 6 dates, he doesnt owe her anything.

Hey Alpha, what are these anger texts she is sending you?

Hmmm...is this a set-up for another thread you are planning to start, alphamale? Let me guess, the title of the thread will be:

"This nice chick I just dumped won't leave me alone"

:rolleyes::D!!!

Okay, and you don't need to apologize to strangers for not caring about another stranger- BUT- why did you post about this then?

If you don't care- why solicit advice about it?

Boredom is an accpetable answer, but I am just curious.

regardless of what you label what it was it was still rude and very insensitive. You won't find too many meaningful relationships with that kind of attitude.

yep... it was all about boredom... it's his MO. Like, he continued to date this this girl even though he never was into her... now he finally decided to end things.

IMHO he did her a favor, he just should have done it a long time ago.

Alpha, you're what, 44? You're telling me, at 44, you don't know that women do this? Heck I learned more about my M from friends than I did from stbx. It's the way they are. Accept it. :)

seriously? you're 44, alpha? I'm... speechless. I thought you were in your 20's or maybe early 30's?

That makes all of this so... pathetic.

I have nothing left to say... I'm done with your threads.... I'm sure you're heartbroken.
