Appearing wealthy to attract dates.

Recommended Posts

I've been working the gold pile routine on a hispanic woman. Our 1st 2 meetings were full of her subtle probes into indicators of my wealth.

That seems GD to me.

Since then we've had a number of phone conversations, the probes into my finances have stopped. Now I'm confused... Is she not a GD, or is she convinced that I'm wealthy and playing it cool?

If she's not a GD, then I wouldn't want to continue running the game on her.

I'm leaning toward the idea that she is a GD. I base it on the many $ questions she had earlier.

How can I test her?

Thanks

Just because a woman makes inquiries about your financial situation does not make her a GD. A smart woman doesn't want to have to deal with a lot of garbage and a guy of a certain age who has a poor financial situation likely is in a poor financial situation because of some flaw of his own. She may just want to be sure that you are not some loser who won't or can't keep a decent job or blows all his money.

You make a valid point.

Ok, I think I hurt someone...not alot but some. I feel bad about it.

I've had one great time via this game, and now 1 bad time. Logic says to try it on a 3rd woman...then decide.

But, fresh from the negative, I just don't feel like it.

How do you get back into your game, after a downer?

Time heals Mr. Pile. If you are troubled by the hurt feelings, maybe you are not cold enough for this game of yours.

Sell the BMW and get a lettuce wagon.

You don't. You quit trying to convince yourself that it's ok to treat human beings like objects and turn into a decent person who rejects that kind of behavior.

Why would this guy want to date women who ONLY date rich men? You might as well get a hooker!

freebird, lets leave your mother out of this.

Or YOURS...

Dude, no woman in their right mind would date YOU - you stink of "cheap"! Look at the comment you just made about my mother - sorry honey - you can't buy class...

I'd never date you...neither would any of my gorgeous friends...aww, stop fuming - your viagra might give ya heart attack! That normally happens to men going thru mid life!

Money doesnt matter, the person does. Plain and simple. Except who they are for them, the person. Money doesnt make "fun" happen, the people do. Desperation?

Zblue, Money does matter to some. In this case I've been doing women who are hunting me for the wealth they think I have.

OKAY, you had 2nd thoughts, I see a nicer bunch of Mr.Pile posts.

Have you made a decision on this method of yours?

If you did it with less lying and didn't insist on dumping them so fast, I'd say it wasn't much worse than the games all people play.

Do I detect a compliment ? Thanks Mr. Basic

I've really been distracted by other things, no time to even think about apply my methods out there.

Certainly it would never be applied the same as before. (if at all)

After much reflection, I've modified the Gold Pile Plan.

I will still do everything to appear wealthy. But I will no longer speak with forked tongue. No talk of vast wealth, no talk of Euro trips, no speaking of vacations that didn't happen.

Appearances may be misleading, but almost everyone does it. The ladies with make-up, bras and such. The mechanic who wears a suit to the club are all mis-leading people.

I have the car, will continue to carry the occassional Wall Street Journal.

I found a really great looking watch for $40 dollars. For the same price I have a very decent looking pair of shoes.

I plan to visit high end Auto/boat/plane(?)/Art auctions, etc to appear as a well heeled potential buyer. But I won't verbally claim anything.

I know plenty of richer guys that own their own businesses that don't have girlfriends for years. Then I know plenty of ugly guys, and poor guys that work at restaurants and sandwich shops part time that have decent looking girls.

Money isn't a big part of it, to be really poor is gonna turn away a lot of girls. But it has more to do with your social manor, and casual connections. When you brag about yourself and money, it turns girls off they think you are some sort of inflated ego person.

Most girls are just looking for a guy on their level, not super rich, not poor. Most good looking girls are college grads and when they reach a certain point in their career they are looking for a guy with a similar background to share bills and raise family. Before that they just go with whatever is decent and turns them on, along the way.

Most good looking girls are college grads? I've never heard that one before? I saw a LOT of ugly girls in college! Anyway, that's a new one on me!

I guess I'm not "most girls" then because I never cared about finding anyone with a similar background. I only cared about his character. You say before a girl is ready for marriage she looks "for whatever is decent and turns them on." I guess I'm not most girls either on that front. The requirements you listed (decent and a turn-on) were ALSO still ones I looked for in a husband.

Where'd you come up with all this stuff?

mmmm...well around here unless the girl goes to college there's no real work for her, and she winds up in a pretty trashy situations. So most of the girls around here that are good looking go to college some and find jobs elsewhere. That might not be the case everywhere or in every situation. I find also that people tend to cling together mostly for security and decent and turn them on, aren't as high on priority list as the guy is stable, friendly, and gonna provide.

Panhandler,

Your zany idea that only pretty girls get higher education is a possible explaination as to why you're sitting at home posting on a Saturday night.

(I should talk)

I've had better conversations with a bag of cement.

Women respond to high social status and value.

You can convey this MUCH better with bodylanguage, vocal projection, social proof, etc, rather than by having a Ferrari or a Yacht, or expensive clothes, etc.

You are going about this all wrong bro, and you don't convey to women that you have money by TELLING them verbally.

It's much more powerful if you showed them some pictures of you, in (your porsche) conveys wealth, pictures of you with your friends and beautiful women (pre-selection is more powerful than money, if women see that other girls want you, they will want you.. its the boyband effect), and also the fact that you are safe.

Stories are probably the best way though to convey value and everything you want to convey. There's a story I use all the time, it involves me rescueing my girlfriend with my buddies, who happens to be an exotic dancer, she calls me while im with my buddy who is the owner of some club, and she calls me, says she is being stalked by some guys and is feeling scared and i roll up with my buddies and "rescue" her.

It's a story that conveys many valuable things such as value, I know the owner of a club, he is MY FRIEND, pre-selection.. im dating an exotic dancer, it shows strength and compassion, she calls says she is in trouble and I "rescue" her, i protect her..

The most important thing when doing this stuff is to not sound AT ALL like you're bragging, you have to be completely congruent with what you speak.
