Fay Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 Well that proves it. I mean use USMC for example, if he were in a suit... you wouldn't know he was ripped. If he was in a tight tshirt sure maybe then... but a sweatshirt or sweater or buttone up shirt and pants... all you would know is he wasn't fat... not that he was ripped. Fay sleeping with a girl like you is easier done then said. I don't think I'd have any trouble if I was single and happened to give a damn. (I'm not ripped) (I'm also VERY hairy) No, thanks, I will not sleep with you. I don't like ripped. I like this: Travis Fimmel. Maybe with a little less tits. You talk a lot of talk, but I haven't slept with anyone in the last 8 years who wasn't right around that size. Not interested. Sorry.
Chubbi Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 This is a wierd question. Too fat for me is if the guy's face is too round and thick. The faces are better normal, sculpted, or even gaunt but not pudgy. Other than that, I don't mind a belly or hair. They may be attractive.
Sphere Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 My body mass index is 20.37, an ideal weight, if any woman tries to tell me I'm underweight, I'll flag for a taxi and leave her at the drop of a hat.

Hopefully, OP, the above and some of the other posts here have taught you a lesson about how realistically lots of people view the world, and that though you will learn lots from polling women on things like the topic of the thread, it will usually be a negative generalization learned as opposed to the knowledge you had hoped to acquire. Best not to even go there to start with and instead preserve certain illusions, else you will eventually end up a hermit in a cave. Imagine, for example, a thread where men were asked "what is too fat in a woman?", and some dude posted a picture of Heidi Klum as an average, acceptable female body shape, and said "anything fatter than that." The hissing and spitting would be palpable. Edited September 1, 2010 by meerkat stew
Fay Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 Hopefully, OP, the above and some of the other posts here have taught you a lesson about how realistically lots of people view the world What are you trying to say? That I'm unrealistic in being exclusively attracted to slim guys? It's working out for me just fine, so it must not be an unrealistic expectation... Look here, go look at pictures of tribal peoples who live close to nature and not plopped in front of a TV eating chips and dip all day. You'll see that almost all the men under 40 are in shape. The unnatural thing is Western fatness. Some dudes from Vanuatu Some dudes from Papua New Guinea Some Wancho dudes from India
BlackLovely Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 Does the guy have to have a six pack in order for you to date him? Is a little bit of belly fat okay or what. Basically, in your book, how fat is TOO FAT? I don't like posts that ask "Do men like..." or "Do women like..." Everybody is different; one woman's ugly is another woman's sexy. I don't care if a man has a six pack. I actually prefer a man with extra weight. I hate scrawny men that look like I can beat them up. LOL "Extra weight" means up to 20-40 pounds overweight. My first boyfriend was 6' and 200 pounds. My fiance is 6'2 and 220. Soon to be hubs has a little belly and love handles, yet I find him incredibly arousing. If he was 320+ pounds, I would be disgusted.
SadandConfusedWA Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 For me, the single biggest turn off are scrawny men.
kahn2154 Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 Little on the tubby side, and also very out of shape. I wouldn't sleep with you. Sorry, I don't mean to be a b|tch, but you asked. Man, I posted a pic a few days ago and was told I look normal, if OP is tubby I feel obese now
Eeyore79 Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 Little on the tubby side, and also very out of shape. I wouldn't sleep with you. Sorry, I don't mean to be a b|tch, but you asked. This just goes to show that different people like different things. I think your body looks fine, and have slept with guys who are fifty pounds heavier than you, and found them sexy. Whatever shape you are, someone will find you attractive.
meerkat stew Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 What are you trying to say? That I'm unrealistic in being exclusively attracted to slim guys? It's working out for me just fine, so it must not be an unrealistic expectation... Once more I get to type unnecessarily, but I love seeing my own writing, so that's not a great big deal. The thread topic is "Girls:What is 'too fat' in your book?" In response to OP posting pictures of himself, a guy with an average to above average body who exercises regularly, you call him "tubby" and "out of shape," when he is very plainly -objectively- neither. Another poster calls him "inactive," revealing a fairly substantial disconnect with objective reality in at least two female responders. To preempt, "tubby," "out of shape," and "inactive" are not exactly "relative" terms or matters of taste, so spare your words if you are thinking of replying in that vein. You then claim to not like the "ripped" look, and then post a picture of a male model with a very obviously trained body as an example of a "not ripped" look Then you state that you consider anything larger as "too fat," which is fine as it is your preference, and that all the men you have slept with look like the Teen Beat male model guy you have posted. Also fine, as I'm sure you and many other women can get those guys to -screw- you. Then you misread my post entirely, claim that I said you are being unreasonable, when I neither said nor implied that, merely that your grasp on objective reality where it comes to evaluating male bodies is tenuous. I have no doubt that you can get hot teen model types of guys to sleep with you. Most below average and higher women can do that. And as soon as you leave his bed, he will call the next number for the next girl. If that comports with your vision of "working out for you just fine," more power to you.

I know she will not be capable of understanding what you wrote especialy after posting that pic of a guy who is not ripped. (he was very ripped) But your posts are always spot on. Bottom line DON'T ASK what girls consider too fat... WHO CARES. It does about as much good as asking what they consider too smelly.
Stung Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 This just goes to show that different people like different things. I think your body looks fine, and have slept with guys who are fifty pounds heavier than you, and found them sexy. Whatever shape you are, someone will find you attractive. Yeah I finally looked at the pics and he looked okay to me, too. I've been with skinnier guys and bigger guys both.
meerkat stew Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 (edited) Seriously this is the reason not to ask for a womans opinion and take it seriously ... its useless. ...and that's the type of negative generalization I was referring to that could land OP as a hermit in a cave if he pays too much attention to the "reality" problems some people have. Agree totally that it's best not to ask them. Contrast your responses in another thread. You have a 5'7" 115 pound GF, say you like that kind of look, then admit readily that a woman could be heavier and still look fine. Does that prevent you from a "fire breathing harpy" session, with them shouting that you are in essence calling them fat personally? Of course not. Here female posters call an OP who is very plainly, obviously, objectively NOT fat, "inactive," "tubby," and "out of shape," and when called on it, their response is "well I work out alot," , "well I have no problem getting male models to sleep with me," "well there are these natives out there in the wild world with nice bodies," :lmao: the hilarity never ends. Didn't even go into the "tribal pictures" :lmao: too lazy to pull up and link other tribal pictures revealing that bodies in the wild aren't generally "all that" but we have all seen enough National Geographics to know the truth there, so didn't bother. I do blame us guys though for inflating the average women in this countries head and ego to an insane level. AS you said an average decent looking women may sleep with a hottie on a one night stand because he wants to get his rocks off and next thing you know this girl thinks shes a 9 or 10 herself and expects that from Men she gets from then on I was part of it back in the day when i was a ilttle younger had a six pack and did a little modeling i would sleep with women i was barely attracted to because i was drunk and just lookign for an easy lay and next thing you know these women would stalk me like crazy They never thought they could get somebody like me and they didnt know how to act
Author Labster12 Posted September 1, 2010 Author Posted September 1, 2010 Labster, I care about you man and honestly you need help. elaborate...........
tincanman99 Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 First off dont believe that stuff that you hear about women not looking. They do look a lot but are sneaky and super discreet about it. They will almost never get caught like guys do. Some are blatant but its rare. I think most women dont a guy who is super skinny but do appreciate a guy who is fit. I have heard many women say - who wants a guy who is as skinny as me. About a year ago I lost 40lbs. I had gone through a tough time in my life prior. My field changed dramatically, my mother passed away - it was endless. Anyway I let myself go. Stopped exercising and got fat. To make a long story short I hired a woman trainer who promptly changed my diet and got me exercising again. With her I lost about 40lbs. I am still exercising with her. I am 6ft and am right now about 212. Am in pretty good shape, not ripped but am super solid and toned. I have been trying to get under 200 but its been tough. First off I am just a big boned guy. The lowest I ever was when I was like 27 years old was like 185 and I had like 8% body fat. Very tough to maintain. Since I lost the weight all kinds of women are my new best friends. No exaggeration. All these women come up to me and tell me how great I look, blah, blah. Some blatantly wanted to hook up with me.

Many girls here in America seem to think they're hotter than they really are. Physically, I'm a lot like you. I have the v-shape and the only thing keeping me from modeling is the lack of a square jaw. But, I didn't have casual sex or sleep with people I wasn't attracted to.
meerkat stew Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 Need to correct that it wasn't OP whom posters called "tubby, inactive and out of shape." Doesn't change anything else I've posted to the thread.
Fay Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 :lmao: Can't stop laughing. Need air. Ribs hurt. I love you guys.
Fay Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 Max, you look like a frat boy and have a neck like Fred Flintstone. I would not sleep with you.
Mad Max Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 Max, you look like a frat boy and have a neck like Fred Flintstone. I would not sleep with you. Too bad that isn't me.
Fay Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 Too bad that isn't me. Fine, then, show proof of this sublimely modelesque, stalker-frenzy-inducing glorious godhood you claim, because 10 bucks says it's cockamamie. You don't need a square jaw to model. Some of my favorite male models have more triangle-shaped jaws. BTW, to whoever said it, Travis Fimmel is not ripped. He's toned. Maybe ripped compared to some of the pudge we have on LS... And he's not a teenager. He's 31.

I cant even approach an average lookign women these days without her sticking her nose up at me,stop it!!!

I cant even approach an average lookign women these days without her sticking her nose up at me,stop it!!! This is ridic. What you're *really* saying is "We need to convince these women that they're about 2 points less hot than they really are, so they'll want to sleep with our ugly butts." because the last time I checked the studies, women are a LOT less picky about looks than men are, on average. Back to what I was saying before, I never said that anything fatter than Travis Fimmel is fat. Shoot, you could tack another ten pounds on him and he would still be acceptable. You're twisting my words. EDIT: actually, that's a lie. With that face and that hair, he could fit another 20 pounds to no great detriment. Edited September 1, 2010 by Fay
AD1980 Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 women are a LOT less picky about looks than men are, on average. Thats garbage there equally as shallow and when you can be anonymous on message boards you see how they really feel about looks... The only time they will slightly disregard looks is if the guys rich and/or powerful
