Labster12 Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Does the guy have to have a six pack in order for you to date him? Is a little bit of belly fat okay or what. Basically, in your book, how fat is TOO FAT?
USMCHokie Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Does the guy have to have a six pack in order for you to date him? No, and some women are even turned off by the fact. Besides, how is a girl supposed to know what your midsection looks like when she meets you...? I think it'd be safe to say that this isn't really all that high among most women's priorities... Seriously though...has this become your new obsession...?

SadandConfusedWA Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Oh I am very turned on by body types such as Hokie's. That's just hot Having said that, I would be hesitant to date a guy like that because I would feel like he would expect me to have a 6-pack too. And I would also feel very self-conscious about my own body.
Knittress Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Body type is fairly low on my list of priorities. As long as he's healthy-looking, slightly scrawny to somewhat chubby is fine by me.
USMCHokie Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Oh I am very turned on by body types such as Hokie's. That's just hot Heheh, thanks... I can only hope that it's the same way with another certain someone... Having said that, I would be hesitant to date a guy like that because I would feel like he would expect me to have a 6-pack too. SadandConfusedWA Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Heheh, thanks... I can only hope that it's the same way with another certain someone... Pretty much all of my female friends would find a body like yours a definite plus, so I am pretty sure that it holds true for a certain someone too

spookie Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 As long as there's muscle underneath all the fat, and he can keep up with me on a 10-mile run, I don't care.
bobdole Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 As long as there's muscle underneath all the fat, and he can keep up with me on a 10-mile run, I don't care. I can't imagine that more than 5% of the US population could run 10 miles.
alexlakeman Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Hey troll... I mean OP.... once they see your Indian, the belly won't matter, lol
Author Labster12 Posted August 31, 2010 Author Posted August 31, 2010 Hey troll... I mean OP.... once they see your Indian, the belly won't matter, lol lemme guess, the curry odor will seduce them and give them fantasies of being with me in bed, if that is the case, SCREW exercising I will just be an obese bastard xD
Pink Cupcakes Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 It depends on the woman. There is a very slim, attractive teacher at work who is married to another teacher in the building who is very overweight. She's totally into him.
Star Gazer Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 OP: No, you don't need to have a 6-pack in order to be found attractive or even HAWT by your SO. As far as what's too fat, that's hard to describe. I guess I'd say if your belt is hiding below your belly, you probably have a problem. I have actually been concerned about this in the past and would hope that a girl I was dating wouldn't feel this way... IME, it's only been an issue when the guy clearly had high expectations about what a girl's (i.e., my) body needed to look like in order to find her attractive. I remember one guy I dated calling a girl thick in my presence (with this weird kinda "ewww" look on his face), but she was clearly thinner than I was. He never got a chance to see me naked.
Author Labster12 Posted August 31, 2010 Author Posted August 31, 2010 I honestly LOVE thick women. I wouldn't mind an overweight chick either, I am not into skinny girls at all....
somedude81 Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 I'm wondering if I'm too fat right now. Totally relaxed. Though I do think I look kind of ok in some circumstances Obviously flexing and bending down Sucking in my gut with great lighting conditions
Star Gazer Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 I'm wondering if I'm too fat right now. Totally relaxed. You're not too fat (at all), but your physique looks like you're totally inactive. True? Do you workout at all?
xpaperxcutx Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 I'm wondering if I'm too fat right now. Totally relaxed. Though I do think I look kind of ok in some circumstances Obviously flexing and bending down Sucking in my gut with great lighting conditions Better start hitting those weights then Nah, you're buff, I can tell by your arms and pecs. You just need to lean out for maximum muscle definition. OP, I find that the general consensus of women agree that they do not want a guy that's too skinny, or in part skinnier than them. Muscles are nice, but they're not a necessity. A guy can be fit and still not have defined abs. For me, I prefer a guy that's fit, although a sex pack would just be an added bonus ( I have a thing for bodybuilders and personal trainers). But that's just me.
GooseChaser Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 As long as the guy is at a healthy weight for himself, he is all right with me. He does not have to have a six-pack. If the guy is fit, that is definitely a plus! I wouldn't like a lot of extra fat, but a bit of a belly wouldn't be a problem.
somedude81 Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 LOL, in one post I'm told I look like I'm totally inactive and the other one I'm called buff Of course I'm flexing in one and in a pose to emphasize what I have. I do work out regularly. But the muscle definition isn't really showing in normal circumstances. I'm trying to figure out if losing weight would make me look bigger or smaller. I just want to be hot man, make women jump on me and have sexy time.

spookie Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Sorry but IMO you look like you're inactive. It's not about the amount of fat on the body, so much as whether those muscles look like they get used.
skydiveaddict Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Sorry but IMO you look like you're inactive. It's not about the amount of fat on the body, so much as whether those muscles look like they get used. I agree completely. But six weeks of hard training will fix you right up. Get to it!

I'm saying that based on your first picture, you look buff, emphasis on body size but still have a decent amount of fat ( otherwise your abdominals would be noticeable). Losing weight= losing numbers on the scale, will almost gaurantee you lose a good amount of muscles and fat (muscles always weighs more than fat). I suggest you go heavy on the weights, but still get in a decent amount of cardio. Sorry for hijacking the thread.
somedude81 Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 (edited) I'm saying that based on your first picture, you look buff, emphasis on body size Oh, my mistake then. I thought you were only talking about the flex pic. Losing weight= losing numbers on the scale, will almost gaurantee you lose a good amount of muscles and fat (muscles always weighs more than fat).I'm very well aware of that. That's why I'm trying to gain as much mucsle as possible. Unfortunately, fat also comes with it. Right now I'm 5'6, 163 with the goal of hitting 170. Then losing the fat, while trying to keep muscle loss to a minimum. Skydive, I think you mean to do this. Sorry but IMO you look like you're inactive. It's not about the amount of fat on the body, so much as whether those muscles look like they get used. Aside from the times I'm in the gym, jogging or swimming, I pretty much am just sitting around. That's really only about 10 hours a week where I'm doing stuff. At least I'm hot. Check my profile pic Sorry for hijacking the thread. Heh, I don't think it was that serious to begin with Edited August 31, 2010 by somedude81
