Gold Pile
If you dine alone, try it at a hotel restaurant, may be some lone business travelers there, and you won't feel as uncomfortable. Keep an eye out for lone women dinning. They may welcome your offer to dine with them "because I feel awkward dining alone, you too?" If you happen to score, tell them your cheap employer has you bunking with a coworker so your room is off limits. More controversial: this isn't a time to tell the truth, as you won't meet again. Exaggerate your position in life. Say "me to" to any likes she mentions.
