I normally would not answer for someone else, but with so much soeculation I will go ahead and say it. Loveweary is 35. He said it in another post iirc.

 

How can that be if his ex is in her 30s, and she's ten years younger than him?

Almost two years, OP, and nothing has changed. You know, you're not really far out enough from your divorce to be looking for anything serious. Give yourself some time and a makeover if you feel you need it! Back then, it was Johnny Depp, now it's Paul and Vin. Why the need to look like someone else?

Did he actually say that somewhere? I thought it was that his ex is in her 30s and they were married for ten years, not that she's 10 years younger.

I think he's probably more like 45 but if he gets to be 35 I get to be 30 and now everyone is happy. :D

Loveweary does not look like he is in his 40's. He is not in his 40's. He looks much younger than that. Now its possible that the pic is a couple years old, but even then he does not look close to 40.

Probably. I should be looking at women around 10 years younger, like my ex.

 

That seems to be the sweet spot.

Image and Style. My dad, exH, and lots of men I’ve known went through mid-life crises at your age, OP- the same thinking and actions, change of style and image, concerned about getting attention and sex from women a couple of decades younger, etc. Taking a picture to prove you can get an 18 year old into bed is very mid-life-crisis-y.

 

Maybe a series of lite relationships with young women who haven't chosen their own path yet is just right. Just don’t get upset when they have or develop their own priorities and goals, which was an issue you ran up against with yoga girl, or they change paths, because that’s all typical of teenagers and 20-somethings.

And maybe he doesn't. But looking young doesn't translate into being compatible with an 18 year old. My daughter says that kids usually assume I'm her sister before she tells them I'm her mom. That doesn't mean I'd be compatible with a teenage boy, or even a 25 year old.

Ex "in thirties" and she is 8 years younger according to LW11, so even if she is only just 30, LW is at least 38. #11
