Does breast size matter?

Recommended Posts

Personally, I think the braless thing is hot because it says to me this is a girl who's comfortable with her body and her sexuality to not care if she's wearing a bra or not. Most of the girls I've seen do this have that "I don't care" kinda attitude that I just love.

Its usually "small" chested woman that can do this and make it look good. You can't have C's and make this happen, obviously. High B's are pushing it, IMO.

And yes, I realize we're more conservative here in the states but we're on the subject of attraction and when men find sexy, so I figured what the hell.

The women I see going braless usually look on the "trashy side". I prefer to look classy so its not a look I would go for.

Especially over the summer, there are many shirts that are designed to be worn braless -- they usually have a "mini bra" built in to them, but all that really does is add one more layer of thin fabric. I don't think wearing tops like that is skanky.

When it comes to nipplage, however.... unless you're wearing a bra that's padded, there are going to be times when they are seen. Because even in 100 degree heat it's possible to get cold -- especially when you walk in from outside into AC. If you're more concerned about color showing through in light-colored shirts, a camisole does the trick nicely for many women.

But no woman should even conceive of not wearing a bra in public if they can't pass the pencil test, IMHO -- even if they are some of the most uncomfortable inventions known to mankind (especially underwire ones). Sure, mine might come off when I get home from work, but I have no desire to make the general public need eyebleach.

Does Breast size matter?

MY breast size matters to ME!. I have cup Bs-round and firm. It is not unusual for some to ask me, are you sure you are a B? they look like C's to me...well, no, I have Bs...like them that way ( I am petite) and want to maintain them that way. So heck, it matters to me!

I def wouldn't want to be an a cup. It just doesn't look feminine to me..

Yep, there is nothing nice about a woman who has a chest as a flat as an ironing board.

I am slender with small breasts. Definitely more Kate Moss/Audrey Hepburn than Pamela Anderson/Sophia Loren.

I have never had the feeling that this was a disadvantage. Some men like slender women. These men will not be attracted to women with big breasts.

My boyfriends always told me they liked the fact that I was slender, they liked my breasts and thought I was very feminine.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Don't look for problems where there are none. If everyone would have the same taste, there would be a lot of single people.

Not even if she has long hair, a slender frame and womanly hips? Gee, you're missing out on a lot if all you look for in a woman are boobs!

I mean, you can't tell me that PJ Harvey (http://userserve-ak.last.fm/serve/_/4306938/PJ+Harvey+11789.jpg) looks unfeminine because of her lack of boobs. That Kendra Wilkinson (http://www.perfectpeople.net/photo-picture-image-media/Kendra-Wilkinson-500x683-40kb-media-3121-media-122559-1189254336.jpg), a hipless silicone bimbo looks more feminine just because of the tits! Come on! There's more to femininity than just boobs!

OP, as you've seen, there is a wide variety of perspective, as there will be on most aspects of life. Clearly, if you want to have a healthy intimate relationship, you'll seek out and/or accept the advances of man who finds *you* attractive, and that includes your breast size/shape/function, etc.

Myself, using this post as a reference, I tend to become attracted to the overall person. In that one example, out of all the women I met yesterday, she was the only one I could definitively tell you her 'breast size', which was a heavy A or a light B. My ex-wife was a solid C. I'm nearly positive there was a wide variety of shapely and lovely breasts on the property but I'm telling you what I remember. I hope that's instructive as one datapoint.

Good luck in your journey :)

What an amazing artist! She plays guitar, piano, drums, and sings in an exquistely haunting voice. Put that all together then add a beautiful face and spectacular physique, and you have a goddess. Why is God so cruel?

A question: I once read that a study had found that larger breasted women were more intelligent. Would you say this is true? I mean, do women with big breasts have advantages in everything biological?

Do small breasts mean I got screwed with bad genes? I am quite healthy, though...

That study sounds pretty stupid. I don't buy it one single bit.

Honestly, you need to stop worrying about not having big breasts. It really isn't life or death, or preventing you from finding someone. All you're doing is creating more and more doubt, which'll do nothing but make things tougher for you than need be.

I used to be self conscious about having small breasts. I don't know what changed, but I am glad that I have the breasts I have. I have never had a guy I was with complain about the size.

The last man I was intimate with commented about how much he liked my breasts and how women assume that larger breasts are more attractive. Just like other posters have said, different people like/are drawn to different things. I don't see it being any different than some men prefer brunettes to blondes. I don't think breast size is the deciding factor for most men when they are looking to ask a women out/date her, if so, you don't want that type of man asking you out anyway.

That's b/c you haven't had enough of C's or D's, lol.. Some guys will take anything.. Don't get me wrong, if it's not a long term potential, I'll still sleep with even with a or b's, lol... At that moment I am not too picky.. But when you go out they try to get dressed sexy, they just don't fill in their dresses or blouses sexy enough...

lol, please... :lmao: I've slept with a few C and D cups in my day... ;)

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE big tits, and they really turn me on, BUT it's not a priority when choosing a gf. She has to be cute and fit, and big tits are definitely a bonus, but small tits won't stop me from dating a girl I like otherwise.

Does that make more sense?

Once again, it only needs to be proportional to the body type.

A heavy girl with A cups would look bad, same with a petite girl with massive ones.

So ladies, don't get self conscious over this topic. Seriously.

Omg, are you serious? Do women think with there boobs or brains? What does intelligence have to do with booby size?

"Screwed with bad genes"? Why is small boobs considered bad genes? And why not the big ones considered bad genes? I like small petite women with A cup size, does that mean I'm into "bad genes"??

I think you need to get your head straight. These are just different sizes and shapes. It's variety. There's no such thing as good or bad. Everyone is beautiful and perfect in their own way. There are different kind of varieties because there are different kind of tastes out there. Some men like small, some like medium and some like em big. Who cares? Your ex wasn't into small ones, I have no clue why you stayed with him.

Imagine you go to a restaurant and they tell you there is only one dish on the menu EVERYDAY. You think that restaurant will be successful? Same goes with life, if all women had big boobs then life will be boring as hell. :(

But thank god there are all different kind of shapes/sizes for us to chose from. :D

So I think the reason you not finding dates, is because you are insecure. You NEED to be extremely confident. Men that are into petite women are out there but they don't want to approach you because you are being insecure and shy. So just be confident so you can attract the type of men that are into small petite women. :)

And pleaaaseee for the love of god, next time your man makes any stupid comments about your body, drop him and kick him out the door in a heartbeat. And don't ever look back at him. Only go for the ones that are 110% into you. :)

I'm rather small chested. I've been single for a while. And while my ex still begs me to take him back, and he always showed attraction to my body, well, a couple times he made insensitive jokes about my meager cups and I noticed how he lusted after busty actresses or porn stars. I even lost some weight while we were still together, and he commented about my breasts shrinking. I asked him what would happen if I ended up being flat chested. He said we would've had to see, because if he lost his attraction to me we would've had to split, or maybe he would've paid for my implants. I'd never get implants, by the way.

Now that I'm single I've noticed how men favor women with large breasts a lot more. I have a good waist to hip ratio (it means my waist is significantly smaller than my hips). I usually wear tight clothes to emphasize this, and I get some attention. But nowhere as near as girls with perfect cleavage. I mean, many models are thin, like me, with small breasts, and they're beautiful, yes, but not hot. Yet glamour models, who're slim with big breasts are well, men can't stop drooling.

I even met a guy recently. He says I'd caught his attention from some time ago. However, he had this perception of me, as sort of an innocent, asexual, even religious girl. I'm none of that. Not innocent, very sexual and not religious at all. I asked him what was it. He said he didn't know, it was just the way I look, maybe the way I dress. But I don't wear conservative clothes. Once we talked about sex, he said his perception of me took a 180° turn.

No busty gal ever deals with that. And I mean, when I want guys to notice me, I don't want them to think that I'm asexual, or that I'm too innocent or a prude. I mean, I wear make up, tight clothes, etc. Yet I project that image.

I wonder why, if I'm not bad looking, I get less attention simply because of tissue that I have no control over. Weird, huh? Especially since I never do that to guys. I'm not too shallow when it comes to dating, to the point even other guys have told me to refine my taste.

I don't want to be simply the cute girl. I want to be more than that. I wonder if my small bust is just 'cute' rather than hot, and if I'll ever be enough for one man. I don't want love anyway for a long time... so right now, whatever I have with a guy, I want it to be casual, so I really don't care about getting a guy who "loves me for me". I want to have fun...

Intriguing thoughts, and in your statements/observations may lie some important understanding.

Of considerable importance is the comparison between a woman's actual self and the sometimes-random image that a guy expects her to fill. (that's why the conversation about sex brought you "180 degrees" in a different direction)

Women who have larger breasts tend to 'present' them more confidently on top of the size difference. That only widens the chasm between their social experiences and those of women with smaller chests.

Small-busted women who can boldly present themselves as if little or nothing is different between themselves and the next woman probably see results that assure that the size of their breasts does not account for significant differences in social dance cards.

I find it very difficult to imagine someone who another perceived as: "sort of an innocent, asexual, even religious girl" being a person who reeeeeeeeeeeeally presents herself socially as something other than what is approximately those things.

You said a couple of encouraging things:

Firstly, that you are well aware of your enviable waist-to-hip ratio

and

secondly, that you would "never get implants" (bravo!)
