Mary3 Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 I would honestly like to know from where these rules and breakdowns on what constitutes a "good guy" and a "nice guy" came, and who says they are seperate? and why this person/people believe one is bad and one is good? coz you know dictionary.com still views nice as its definition. You know, just for the record.... "virtuous; respectable; decorous: a nice girl." Same can apply to males in the definition as per education of proper definition. Excuse me, I really would like to understand this whole contention I see. Im not asking WHAT they mean, I know that already. Im saying WHO got the authority and wisdom to put in place as what appears to be a "biblical" status on LS, what the terms mean?. Answer that with a single name and I'll go back in my corner of hope for the world of dating. A * nice * guy is too nicey-nice because he thinks that gets the girl but in reality nice-nice is boring. Nobody wants a YES man. A good guy has balance. He has a backbone. He will tell you in an assertive way how he feels. He won't be so sweet sickeningly nice to the point that his own opinion and wants are ignored. Nobody * made * these terms. Don't confuse being nice with being too nice. Don't confuse being nice with a pushover. You can be nice to people and respectful. It's a delicate balance that many men have. Some men don't and forever get stuck in the friendzone.
naya1 Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 how quick you guys are to jump on this girls parade and rain on it too! its not every day somebody gets obsessed with us. obsession isnt a good thing, anyway. i would know..its a fire that burns brightly and dies quickly.
