Guys: Women to Avoid

Recommended Posts

You'reasian
You know what, I have to agree with you on that.

Last week I was out for dinner with some married friends of mine and these women have been marries since their 20'ws and are now in their 40's and one of them told me "sex is a chore, I just avoid it as much as I can I even encourage him to use porn...gets him off my back" She followed that with I love him more than ever and my life would be lost without him but I just want companionship i don't need all this sex. The other followed closely in comments. I sat there thinking "poor guys"

There are lot of women who just give up sex, just because. They no longer feel they need to try and "they know" their men won't cheat so they don't.

And yes they started off as little minxes in their relationships and over the years lost interest in sex, not their partners.

Yes, but Jersey Shortie did not observe this conversation, so it didn't happen and a woman did not encourage a dude to use porn... jk

What's the correlation between getting sex and porn again?

But as a female, I hear way more complaining about their partners declining hygiene, effort, and their over use of porn (by their standard anyway) killing their desire more than anything else.
Also, for balance, #12 (the physical part of sex) was never an issue in our M. I was commenting on it generally. I agree that sometimes spouses (men) let themselves go and it is very unattractive physically. To me, that's unfair and disrespectful to one's spouse/partner. I wouldn't want to have sex with a bacteria farm either...

Is the "recently divorced " woman on the list to be avoided? In fact, I think I should be added to the list by name. I'm going to wear a tag "AVOID ME". I scare myself sometimes.

What about the damsel in distress?

Always a crisis, always drama.

I have some guy friends that fall for these types every time and they just love being the knight in shining armor to some basket case.

I love the damsels in distress. No, it's not what you think. I like telling them "Well, think about where did you screw up, and see if you can avoid it in the future". Most of the time they don't like it, which in turn provides good entertainment for me :).

Yes! Poster boy for 'falling for' those. Single biggest change to the people-picker since MC. Now, I acknowledge the drama, nod my head and hand them my psychologist's business card and encourage them to get professional help. 'It really helped me and I hope it helps you' Bye-bye :)

I might lump them in with the drama queens but there are aspects of the damsel in distress that the drama queen doesn't present, mainly IMO wrt consistent negativity. The damsel is predominantly to totally negative, where the queen swings both ways.

The most prolific damsels in my experience are those who can't/won't end an unhealthy/abusive marriage or relationship and suck the life out of anyone who enters their path. Real Hoovers.

If stbx's experiences are any guide, I would say most men would opine 'no'. IME, the instant a woman becomes available, orbiters zoom in from every angle.

"Should" they be avoided? IDK. My instincts say yes, but given the realities, they'll likely bond to one of the orbiters so my opinion is really moot anyway.

1.) I don't need a man. I choose to be with one and choose to share my life with him because he's wonderful. I guess that makes me a ball-busting psycho feminazi.

I don't need a man to have a fulfilling life. I don't need a man to take care of me, pay my bills, or do things for me. I don't need a man to feel like I'm a complete human being. I'm perfectly capable of living as a single woman and doing things I enjoy. Being with my SO makes everything more enjoyable, and I love having him in my life, but I wouldn't be a total wreck if I didn't have him.

2.) There are people out there who don't feel whole without a partner, and if you're after needy women who can't function without a man and who feel like their life is incomplete and meaningless unless they have a man, more power to you. 'Cause you're on my list of men to avoid.

1.) Some of those were right and others are just rude and cruel to your man.

2.) That is such an old fashioned, typical, feminist load of bull, belittling women who want families, but pretending to actually be for women. You sound like an old school raging feminist, so I rejoice that I am on your list to avoid .

How is feminism old-fashioned?

I want a family and children. I would be okay with staying home raising the kids. Am I belittling myself?

Disagree, I have two cats and they're as loving and awesome as any dogs. They love to cuddle with each other or me, and sadly my ex has to take them soon.

I disagree, as well. My cats are as cuddly as my dogs - one cat purrs up a storm, when someone's close by, without them having paid her one little ounce of attention.

I'm a Wild Kingdom girl. ;) I wouldn't want anyone who would expect me to ditch the animals.

Feminism is ancient and is ghastly outdated. It started almost two centuries ago and people act like it's modern. It came about to stop women from being grossly abused because they were unable to get a job. That hasn't been true for over two generations. Now, it's just used to create bitter hags who hate men.

I'm glad you want a family, but by your post you sure didn't sound like it. If you want a family, then you NEED a man. Nothing wrong with it, it's how nature intended it.

Haha, yessss- guys are all about "repairing," I just want to talk about it and be consoled. I know how I could fix it, I just wanna be sad about it for a while.

lol, actually, now it's a term that bitter men throw around when they don't like people who don't adhere to traditional gender roles.

Uh, there's nothing in my post that indicated anything about having a family.

I want a family and I want a man. I want to choose those things because I want them. Not because I need them.

I want a family. That doesn't mean I need a man or children to feel like I'm living a fulfilling life. That doesn't mean that if I were infertile and single for the rest of my life that I'd be a total shut-in, curled up in a ball, rocking back and forth and crying over how meaningless and useless my life is because I don't have a man or children. That doesn't mean I'd consider my life a total waste and failure because I didn't have a man or children.

Do you understand what I'm trying to say? There's a difference between choosing something you want and absolutely needing it. I don't want someone to be with me because they need a partner to fill up some void in their life. I want someone to be with me because they want to be.

If I passed away, I wouldn't want my partner to sink into a horrible depression and never leave the house again because he can't possibly function without me. I want him to be able to live a fulfilling life without me but to choose to be with me anyway.

I guess that means I hate men and am a crazy ancient feminist who looks down on women who want children...? I'm curious to see what other insults you can come up with from misreading and misunderstanding my posts.

Here's how you can fix that problem (:D), just say before you tell them a problem, "Don't try to fix it, just let me talk about and then console me". I'd laugh my butt off if a girl said that to me, it would be awesome.

The need is mutual. And there's nothing wrong with that.

A lot of people don't even know what feminism really IS. Feminism isn't the better of just women. Feminism is the effort for equality of both men and women.

social theory or political movement supporting the equality of both sexes in all aspects of public and private life; specifically, a theory or movement that argues that legal and social restrictions of females must be removed in order to bring about such equality.

With this in mind, everyone should be feminists. It's sad the true meaning has been tarnished and now is viewed as a negative extreme. Every effort has negative extremities, but feminism and masculism is very real, and very important.

I want a family, and I want a career. It's important that i'm given the opportunity to enjoy both. I assume my husband would want the same, my goal would be to share the responsibilities and pleasures.

Disillusioned

1. The Next Empress of the United States.

This is a woman who has to have control. Without it, she'd starve to death.

2. The Career Obsessive.

Bah, she doesn't need a man!!!

3. The Career Student, aka the Degree Collector.

Terrified of having to get a real job, she floats on the air like a cloud whenever she earns a new college degree.

When most people mention feminism, what they're actually talking about are the feminazi's. The ultra hardcore man-haters.

1.) The traditional role of women died long ago, even before I was born. Almost no woman alive today fits into the traditional role. What is there to be bitter about? The other type of women don't really exist anymore. Further proof of how ancient and outdated feminism is.

2.) Your response doesn't really clear up that you don't need a man. You have one, so you obviously needed him. You need attention, affection, comfort, sex, companionship, and on and on....... To say you are over using the word "want" is an understatement.

No. I'm with a man (I don't "have" him, really) because I want to be with him, and he wants to be with me. I don't need him.

Why are you having such a hard time understanding the difference?

You need attention, affection, comfort, sex, companionship, and on and on.......

I like those things, but I can live life without a romantic partner.

To say you are over using the word "want" is an understatement.

To say you're completely missing the point is an understatement.
