I asked about some videogames he had and he said that I could play some. The minute I sat down in front of his computer, there were porn icons on his desktop. Proof that he is probably one of those creeps who masterbates to porn all the time. I hate it when men are looking at half naked girls in the public library, I usually get up and move somewhere else. No matter how hard a woman might try in a relationship with a man, he will never be satsified with that and what he has. It will, on some level, always be about what he doesn't have. In a lot of respects, there is really no point in even trying. Someone said that even if he had Jessica Alba as a wife, he still wouldn't be happy. Which makes me question if that has to do more with male insecurity then female. We keep saying it's female insecurity to worry about porn. And while it NATURALLY can be, I don't that's thats a justifyable excuse to say porn is okay. Porn is JUST as much about male insecurity. And that is the "hardcore" truth most men deny even to themselves. Because porn panders to every male insecurity and creates a world where men rule and women are only there to be used as a supplement for their satisfaction. I talked about this with a guy who is from a different culture, he said he had never been to a strip club and apparently doesn't look at porn either. Unfortunately, I'm not attracted to him. Hopefully there are more men like him in his culture that is a perfect match for me. These young guys today are waay too shallow and superficial. To answer the original question, my wife is not a professional porn star, though our lives do routinely look like a porn movie (and frequently are taped for (mostly) private consumption). I do find porn less interesting than I did before my life was this way, because doing is much more fun than watching others do. But, Meghan, trust me when I say that there is no way you will ever be willing to do that which occurs in porn enough to cause a similar reaction from your SO, the fact that porn scares you like it does is evidence enough of that. Yes, because I experience these things in person on a somewhat regular basis, watching it just doesn't do it for me as much as it used to, then again I do still indulge from time to time, and it's fairly common for the venues that these things are occurring to have porn playing on a 12-foot wide screen. That you object so strongly to the idea of your SO even watching complete strangers do such things on the television implies to me that you will not be willing to participate yourself, especially if said participation is solely for the purposes of decreasing said SO's desire to watch it on the tele. We still have sex, we still love each other, so what's the big deal. My H got rid of his movies, because he thought I still didn't like them.
