Here's why people are amazing

Recommended Posts

He's kind of short. And by kind of I mean very. I'm pretty tall for a chick (5'9)..I'm 2 or 3 inches taller than he is. I've only ever dated men over 6' before. I'm not entirely sure I can deal with that...I haven't decided yet. I don't want to feel like the Jolly Green Giant.

Oh well..going to bar trivia night and seeing the other dude tonight (he is over 6'..and he's a nerd..I love me some nerds!).

We shall see! And the saga continues, ha!

I'm 5 ft. 7 and I take offense to this!

lol.

This is actually backed up by psychology, she isn't making this up.

One of the worst things to do in an argument is to tell a woman or man to calm down, as it invalidates the way they feel. The proper way to handle it is to let them express their emotion and not demean.

This is so true!

We really should have an LS forum for dating.

Well, dating each other.

Lol all the people from the breakup forum would swarm the date section. Might as well name the forum get your rebounds.

1. Never say "I'm busy." when she's upset.

2. Even if you're right, never say to a woman you're right.

3. Try not to talk over a woman. It's annoying.

4. Women are in control. Don't try to argue otherwise.

5. When you say something stupid, never say "I'm sorry" It makes you look weak.

6. Chocolate is not ALWAYS the answer.

7. Don't believe a random list of things from a stranger.

8. Don't be a nice guy to a woman. Be a respectable, true, and strong person for her.

9. Not every woman is going to like you. Appreciate the ones that do.

Sadly, I think the key to maintaining a relationship is to be inattentive, rude occasionally, and selfish.

That only works for young immature women(well immaturity has no age)

I'm seeing an older woman, and though I am not smothering her, she respects and is attracted to my comedy and passion

But I think, in all reality, she thinks I'm super cute looking.

You are the type I'd be friends with. What state are you from brother?

How old is she in relation to you? lol

It's all about making yourself number one on your list of those you take care of. Your wants and needs are most important. Hands down!!

Selfish? Maybe... Jerky? Who knows... Rude? Probably...

Oh, and I'm super guilty of #3 and #5. Working on it!!!

I'm in my 20s. I don't expect any relationship I have to last a long time.

till further notice, it's just really a friends with benefits thing. Problem is, she's REALLY into the sex and I'm not.

SHOCKINGLY(not really) My aloofness seems to turn her on even more.

Number 3. Trivia night guy and restaurant guy are it. I don't think I can handle juggling more than 2 at a time, to be honest.

And for everyone's info, nothing physical has or will happen for a LONG time with ANYONE I go out with.

Rule no. 11. 75 percent of the time, a woman doesn't date a guy she isn't planning on getting physical.

And a "Long time" is very unspecific so I assume that it won't be that long that all.

Annoying to anybody really

4. Women are in control. Don't try to argue otherwise.

Nop. I actually like a man who's a man, and can be in control. Not to mix up with over controlling and/or abusing.

5. When you say something stupid, never say "I'm sorry" It makes you look weak.

Sorry.. but.. yeah, say sorry if you mean it

6. Chocolate is not ALWAYS the answer.

YES IT IS!

8. Don't be a nice guy to a woman. Be a respectable, true, and strong person for her.

True true! Not every guy is going to like a woman either.

Why does long time mean something different for you than it does for me? I'm not a sl*t.

PS. I don't like chocolate..so that rule doesn't apply to me either way. :)

oh yeah, you're 5'9". maybe you should make it a prerequisite.

also, sarcasm, i can't tell if you picked up on that, and if i'm picking up on yours. and, i do beg you, don't actually TELL a guy you can't date him because he's short, you're going to break his tiny ego. i'm not short...but guys have told me those stories and i think it causes that whole Napoleon complex thing. women.pshhh.

It usually is a prerequisite..but this was a little different.

Yes, thanks..I did pick up on the sarcasm..and yes, I was throwing it right back at you.

Come on..I would NEVER tell a guy he's too short.

How tall are you?
