Philetus Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 I am with Clinton. Only intercourse counts as sex. I wonder if you guys consider hand jobs sex too? No, I don't consider hand jobs or dry humping (ah, high school) sex. I wonder if I'm in a minority of men but the number of hand jobs I've had in my life could be counted easily on one hand. I guess it's an odd distinction and I consider oral sex to be sex because of the level of intimacy involved. But, I certainly wouldn't argue over it. It's subjective.
Feelin Frisky Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 Let's pretend. Say, you're a female and you never heard of sex. You're with a guy and you see his jonhson get all big. For some reason you feel drawn to put it in your mouth. Is that "sex" yet? Or does it only really become sex when you KNOW that chugging it in and out will make him get so excited he'll start having spasms where something other than pee pee helicopters out of the tip? This distinction is called "using carnal knowledge". It's a historically big distinction believe it or not. It has been used to determine guilt under Puritanical law. It is said that the first letter of each word in the sign posted under the "stocks" people were locked into for punishment gave birth to a term commonly used to this day. Those words? For using carnal knowlede.
Feelin Frisky Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 "Helicopters?" As a VERB?? Yep. It's interchangeable with "whirly-birds" as a verb too.
sanskrit Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 Problem is that the traditional definition of "sexual intercourse" requires the possibility of reproduction, mixing gametes. So the answer hinges on whether "sex" is short for "sexual intercourse," or merely any contact with sexual organs. Another interesting question, is masturbation "sex?" Would it matter whether someone was watching you do it to yourself or you were watching them? Is using a vibrator on someone sex? Is fetishism not even involving body parts sex?
Disillusioned Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 do you agree that it is sex Only if you're a sea anemone, in which case all you need to do is puke your eggs or sperm into the water and let the current do the rest.
alexlakeman Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 This is an example how WOMEN skew their "numbers"... "oh I only slept with 5 guys"... but she's not counting the 34 she gave blow jobs to, the 2 that fingered her at the dance floor corner, the 13 that dry humped her with her undies on, the 19 that ate her out and sucked on the tities.. oh wait, and if they do anal, it's not "sex" either, lol... forgot a few, the 7 she masturbated them..
Gattica Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 I have to count the dry humping from junior high???
welikeincrowds Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 For using carnal knowlede. Just so you know, that's a myth.
Feelin Frisky Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 Just so you know, that's a myth. I do. Buy it makes sense. The stipulation in a Puritanical trial as to whether a woman committed a no-no versus "nature just getting the better of her" is the use of "carnal knowledge". Did she know? And did she do the whole 9 yards on purpose? Or was she innocent of sex and perhaps passively coaxed into something she didn't understand (but had a natual drive to want to somehow accomodate)? I've also heard that Fornication Under Consent of the King is the origin of the collective word whose letters are bolded and underlined.
