GooseChaser Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 (edited) I'm sorry, I couldn't resist. I think it's a fair question to compare to the other thread. This is not meant to be out of the blue, but rather as a counter-thread to "American women: why some stray in marriage". Might as well scrutinize both sides! It's only fair. Pfiend101 Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 We are often sold lies. When we date a woman and "court" her she will be the same weight and act a certain way that we like. That we want to marry. Then once married she tricks us and starts eating bon bons and watching oprah/dr phil. While doing nothing around the house. She knows she has you by the balls if you dont have a prenup. She knows at this point.... that shes won.

Otherwise, how boring is that? Thank you for your response, and I look forward to seeing the future discussion here! Let's keep it friendly and civil please, everyone!
Author GooseChaser Posted September 17, 2010 Author Posted September 17, 2010 I would like to emphasize that I have no problem with American men. In fact, I like them. I am just asking a question. I think it will be interesting to compare this topic to its brother topic. Also, how can "straying" be discouraged or prevented?
donnamaybe Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 As sad as it is, for the most part American men are all amoral cheats compared to women. Now... I can already hear the cries of "women cheat too", and that's a valid point, but women in the U.S. cheat at much lower rates than men. Also... I don't think men in the U.S. are good fathers. I think that one might be worth debating. They constantly have to be chased down to pay their piddly child support, and when they DO pay they think single moms are all out there getting their hair and nails done at their expense when, in reality, there is a higher housing cost to pay (more rooms needed), clothes to buy, food to eat, gas for driving the kids to their numerous activities which ALSO cost money, school lunches, etc. Most American men haven't a CLUE what it takes to raise a child because, frankly, most of them don't pay attention even if they ARE still in the family home. Apparently it's okay to make these sweeping generalizations, so I'm going to ascribe them herein.

Just tie them up in the garden when not in use.
Woggle Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 I get a bunch of flack for venting but I see it is perfectly okay for women to spew misandry on here. How is this any better?

How is this any better? There was a thread about married (American) women cheating, and I think it's perfectly fair to have a version about the men as well. Straying is by no means exclusive to women.
bayouboi Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 Also... I don't think men in the U.S. are good fathers. I think that one might be worth debating. They constantly have to be chased down to pay their piddly child support, haha, the whole thing is natural selection at its finest. the only ones capable of cheating are the ones that are "hot" enough to have those options. yet, women will still go for them regardless. the good fathers aren't hot enough to make babies with. this nature breeds itself exponentially....breeding and weeding ourselves worse off than we were before.
Woggle Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 Woogle, it's irony. I believe most of it is serious.
denise_xo Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 I believe most of it is serious. OK, your choice.
Author GooseChaser Posted September 17, 2010 Author Posted September 17, 2010 (edited) I believe most of it is serious. There were similar posts in the other topic about American women saying about the same thing about them-- that many of them were amoral and bad mothers. Donna's post is parodying that. phineas Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 Then once married she tricks us and starts eating bon bons and watching oprah/dr phil. While doing nothing around the house. She knows she has you by the balls if you dont have a prenup. She knows at this point.... that shes won. Well, we both gained weight. so it's a draw on that one. However she always cleaned & helped me with yard work & contributed to the home fund for mortgage & bills while engaged & living together. She was very good with money also. After marriage she stopped cleaning, yardwork, & her money became her money & my money became our money & It took the sattelite being shut off from non-payment before she started helping out again. She spent money like it was going out of style & I stupidly went along with it. At least the sex was good. That was the one thing that didn't stop, except for when she was cheating on me. Then she lost weight & started cleaning for when her boyfriend came over while I was at work.

This is not meant to be out of the blue, but rather as a counter-thread to "American women: why some stray in marriage". Might as well scrutinize both sides! It's only fair. I blame women. We men have a fraternity. My ex cheated and therefore any boorish behaviour men do against women is totally justified. So, men stray to avenge all their brothers who take it up the ass from chicks (not necessarily literally). Anytime a man strays from his marriage, he gets a free set of golf clubs.
donnamaybe Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 Woogle, it's irony. Apparently, American men also don't understand irony.
Philetus Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 Apparently, American men also don't understand irony. Huh? I thought it was like goldy or bronzey but made of iron.
denise_xo Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 Huh? I thought it was like goldy or bronzey but made of iron. Oh, this applies to Canadian men, too??
Author GooseChaser Posted September 17, 2010 Author Posted September 17, 2010 Thank you, everyone, for keeping an upbeat and positive tone thus far! Please keep it up!

donnamaybe Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 I got it. But then I have a feel for your posting style. You mean the "I calls it like I sees it" style, or the "I'm gonna feed your own BS RIGHT back atcha" style?
phineas Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 You mean the "I calls it like I sees it" style, or the "I'm gonna feed your own BS RIGHT back atcha" style? If you mean a complete smart-ass then yeah.
donnamaybe Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 If you mean a complete smart-ass then yeah. Better a smart-ass than a dumb-ass, eh?
