Believe it or not, those are considered VERY "in" in certain circles. Note the price tag, and then check out the rest of the site and notice which ones are marked 'sold'.

Not my taste, but some people like them.

Sort of like white sneakers.

I think very few people like those in comparison to white sneakers or hopefully.

My hubby does not own a pair of sneakers. One pair of hiking boots (for hiking) black lace up boots and black leather shoes for working. And that's it.

Oh and I bought him some slippers. He really is just not much of a shoe guy!

I don't care what shoes a guy is wearing in a casual setting, as long as they're clean and don't smell. LOL.

Shoes always pull an outfit together- and can make or break an outfit.

A guy in casual jeans and a t-shirt would look good with some of those white runners- put those runners with shorts and it will look silly. Shorts should be paired with flips. That's why women hoard so many shoes- because we know that the shoes are important to the final look!

Those black platform numbers look like euro-trash shoes.

I have over a hundred pairs of shoes- I just box em up when they go out of style because I know they'll come back into style again someday!

Like Elswyth said, I don't get why people are slagging the OP over this. I've known a lot of girls who are almost completely anti-superficial, but they will all notice a nice new pair of shoes.

Guys and women tend to equate shoes differently. We know three kinds of women's shoes: sexy high heels, FM boots, and every other shoe out there. Most of us guys don't have any clue about what a mule shoe or a kitten heel are, or what makes a Jimmy Chu so freakin' special. But we know they're special to you, so they're special to us.

Here's an average guy's list of shoes: casual/around the house shoes, work shoes/boots, dress shoes, outdoor boots. One pair each, everything in either black or brown. That's about it. Women generally tend to place more importance on a man's shoes than men do. We may not get why, but we know it's important.

To quote a wise man,

"Is it the shoes?...Money, it's gotta be the shoes!"

Oh no. The shoes can't be black or brown. They need to be white. Nothing but WHITE :lmao:

I have heard women do pay a lot of attention to men's shoes, but I actually have never before. It was only with my last BF that I did. Like I said, the fact that I actually paid so much attention to his shoes...

I don't own a pair of white shoes, but am going out and get a pair, first thing Monday Morning, to show my disdain. I really hope that all of you people find partners who are fashionable enough for you to be seen with.:laugh:
