To me a high number is a turn-off and if I did hear the number and it was a high number, I would want her to get STD tested immediately. If I somehow hear the number after her and I are in a relationship, then I wouldn't be turned-off due to the feelings that I have towards her, but I still would like for her to get tested. In my experience, you can pretty much tell from a persons personality and their outlook on life if they were the promiscuous type in the past or not. I could marry some sweet innocent virgin and then after the kids she cuts me off because she hates sex and then at 40 she has a mid life crisis and wants to experience her sexuality with other men. I have seen it happen before. If a woman truly enjoys sex she will bring that into the marriage and it will be better for the both us and she won't wonder what it is like to experience sexuality with other men because she has been there and done that.
