Pyro Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 I am trying hard not to make his issues, my issues. That is very hard to do. I know that I would never treat somebody like that. I am a better person than that. What comes around goes around, and he'll get his. People can't treat other people that way without getting something in return. I am a strong believer in that theory. Exactly. It is all about karma and he will get his. Just concentrate on yourself and do what makes you happy. This guy/kid doesn't deserve a mature woman like yourself.
Author luvtoto Posted June 18, 2006 Author Posted June 18, 2006 Hey Luvtoto, I believe he was testing his boundaries and how much control he has over you. You drew the line and stood up for your principals and views. Never let someone destroy your principals and views. Do not contact him, I am notoriously known to just stop. Unilateral NC, no emotions, no regrets, no feelings, compassion of a rock, and a jerk sometimes. Don't call him. let him call you. The phone breaking is just an excuse. I do not think guys let their gadgets break? I know I can't show emotion. I am, however, fighting the urge to tell him off. So, I will tell him off on LS. M, Sorry I wasn't a big enough whore for your liking. Cheer up...you'll find her someday. P I want to send that to him sooooo bad. But, I will fight the urge and just walk away not needing an explanation from him. That would make a much bigger impact.
Guitar Wizard Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 Exactly. It is all about karma and he will get his. Just concentrate on yourself and do what makes you happy. This guy/kid doesn't deserve a mature woman like yourself. Once again The Riddler saves the day.
Author luvtoto Posted June 18, 2006 Author Posted June 18, 2006 Once again The Riddler saves the day. Yep! Screw Superman! Riddler's the bomb!
Guitar Wizard Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 Yep! Screw Superman! Riddler's the bomb! Whoa whoa whoa, slow down there. The Riddler is cool, yes, but Superman can fly, shoot lasers out of his eyes, and... yeah. It's superman. But yes, Riddler has saved the day. It's hard for other people to come in and reply to this because The Riddler has pretty much said all there is to be said. He covered all the bases, and yeah. This guys a jerk, and you diserve better. Anyway, The Riddler kicks ass, but until he learns how to fly, superman is still cooler. Sorry Riddler.

Does Superman like potroast? I highly doubt it. (long story) By the way, I am feeling much better today! I didn't let this guy get to me too much. I think that's why he dumped me. I wasn't easily accessible. I am more dissappointed in myself. How could I not have seen what was going on? He came on too strong, he pressured me, he tried to turn me into something I wasn't. Like, Befree said...what was next? Kissing his cat? I am actually relieved to find out the truth about this guy. I was tired of fighting off my gutt feeling that he was no good. It was very exhausting!!

And you shouldn't be dissapointed in yourself, they say that "Love blinds". And, it really does sometimes. All the emotions that are involved with a relationship can really pull the wool over your eyes. We've all been there, it's another step of life. The good thing is that your moving on with your life, in a much better and brighter direction. ... And... I like potroast.
Author luvtoto Posted June 18, 2006 Author Posted June 18, 2006 ... And... I like potroast. Oh, don't go butterin' me up, Guitarwizard. The damage has been done. Then, I am gonna grill out steaks. Screw that little boy crap! I am so over it. He might be used to other chicks begging him back...but, he ain't met the likes of me yet. Yep, like Riddler said...I'm too mature for him.
dgiirl Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 Luvtoto, glad to see you're coping well. He certainly is a jerk, and this is typical behaviour. When a guy pressures you into doing what they want too quickly, and if you stand up and say no, they soon lose interest. This is why you always always follow your own gut. If sending him nudie pics was something you were ok with, then even if he left the next day, you wouldnt have any regrets. However, if it was something you were uncomfortable with, and did it anyways, and then he left, you'd regret it big time. Dont ever lose your own moral code. And the ones who stick around after saying no are the keepers! It's just hard to find them because the jerks are such HUGE jerks they grab all the attention.

Thanks for your support. I will never ignore my gut feeling again. All I know is is that I am going to the lake today to relax!!! I am tired of doing things in life without a partner. Thank God for my two kids. I would have nothing if it wasn't for them.

You will be ok. He just might not have been right for you. You will meet the right guy. I know. I have been where you are. Just when you least suspect it. I heard an analagy (sp)once I really liked it. It goes something like this: When we date, finding the right person is like hitting the bullseye. We Aim and we miss. Each time we aim we get closer to the target. As we miss we learn. We learn more about ourselves and what we want in a partner. And then finally we aim and we hit the target. So keep aiming, each time you miss the target, use it as a learning experience. A way to help guide you to the bullseye.
Pyro Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 Yep! Screw Superman! Riddler's the bomb! Why thank you. Wolverine could kick Supermans ass. My this thread has certainly turned pleasant. I am glad to hear that you are doing better today. This guy has avoided you for 5 days now. Do not send him any message or make any contact. He doesn't deserve to even hear your voice again. It will hurt him more to not hear from you ever again. It takes time to see someone for who they really are. Let this be a lesson for you. The next guy that you meet, don't get your emotions involved until you see the person for who they are. Like they say, love can be blind. It has blinded all of us at some point. Sounds like you have quite the day today. Have fun and keep us posted if he ever decides to try and contact you.
Author luvtoto Posted June 19, 2006 Author Posted June 19, 2006 It will hurt him more to not hear from you ever again. Really? I have the power to hurt him? Don't worry...he'll never see me sweat. The next guy that you meet, don't get your emotions involved until you see the person for who they are. I didn't get my emotions involved (well, maybe a little)...that's been his main problem with me. I didn't trust him and he knew it. Maybe I pushed him away. But, then again, I don't deserve to be dumped flat out. That shows his character I think. A day at the lake did me wonders! I locked my keys in my car, made friends with the neighbor campers, they let me use their cell phone, then they took my kids out on their jet skies and inner tube. Then, the my son got to play catch and get some pointers from an older married dude. That's what I want...a father figure for my son. My son needs that so bad. It almost made me sad. Oh, yea..caught 4 fish, too! Oh well, had an awesome day!!! Now, it's Miller Time! Thanks everyone for your support!

Just because you don't get to see or hear the hurt doesn't mean that it is not there. We all have feelings and emotions and from what you have said that he has done for you and with you, he has feelings for you. NC definitely hurts more then words, at least IMO. If he was really interested in you, he would have been patient with you and your feelings. He would have helped you work on your insecurities. I am glad that you had an exciting day. It keeps your mind off whats his face. Kids do need a mother and father figure but it obviously can't just be anyone. Just be patient and get back on your horse and get back out there in the dating world.

I realized that I am happy with or without a man in my life. I lost him and it affects me...but, I am still pretty damn happy in my life right now. period. Man or no man.
Author luvtoto Posted June 19, 2006 Author Posted June 19, 2006 ....bulls*** it did Yea! What she said! Bulls***!

We should all be happy ourselves regardles of if we have a relationship or not.
kitten chick Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 Sorry that you have to deal with his immaturity luvtoto. Most men seem to never grow up. Really? I have the power to hurt him? Don't worry...he'll never see me sweat. No you can't hurt him, he has no feelings. He's cold and emotionally stunted. Better to just move on and forget about this jerk.

It's because of LS and nice guys like you that keep me lookin' for Mr. Right. Before I joined LS, I was one bitter chick.

Author luvtoto Posted June 22, 2006 Author Posted June 22, 2006 Hey ya'll! He just called me. haha! He gave me the phone broke excuse and then started to ask me if I received any of his emails. #1. There were no emails. Then, I said that I was tired of hearing his excuses. He said, ok...ok. Then I hung up on him. Does he think I was born yesterday?
westernxer Posted June 22, 2006 Posted June 22, 2006 Then I hung up on him. That's awesome! I bet he told his teacher the dog ate his homework, too.
Author luvtoto Posted June 22, 2006 Author Posted June 22, 2006 That's awesome! I bet he told his teacher the dog ate his homework, too. Doncha 'member, Westy? He has a cat. He wrote me an email, also...I cut and pasted it for everyone to see. "HI. I'm sorryyyy, but I'm telling the truth. I miss you. Wish you would talk to me, but if not, I'm sorry. I really do miss you!" What is wrong with this guy?? Was he locked in a bathroom stall for a week and a half, and couldn't get out?
