You don't know how honest she was ever really being with you about her sexual history and how she really felt about sex.

Most people once they reach adulthood are comfortable and experienced enough with sex to be ok with it happening quickly if the chemistry seems right to them. Few (if any) hold a silly 90 day rule with everyone. It's usually just a matter of 'do they want to have sex with this specific person right now or do they not. 

Them saying they have a moral obligation to wait for sex is often just a way of still getting the male attention they like without having to put out for guys they may not be all that into from a physical standpoint.

If condoms or birth control didn't exist then sure but most young women these days are totally ok with using that stuff.
