If you want to call him, then call him.

There is no reason to be asking or caring what he thinks unless he is harassing you or something like that.

Actually got to give this guy credit, that was pretty funny to imitate your photo. Call him since you seem so interested. Call him and ask him what he thinks.

You can't blame the guy for wanting to match your stylish shoes and pants, can you?

Why not give him another chance? Who knows, you might just end up with matching shoes and pants for more than just social media posts!

Why would someone do that though ? Especially if it’s a past romantic partner ?

Well, I don't think its to get your attention.

Why don't you ask him why he copied your pic idea.

Hmmm so you don’t think it had anything to do with me ???

Do you want it to have something to do with you?

Do you want to date him again?

Why would someone take the time and effort to do that if they weren’t obsess though? I’ve never had a man do that.

The only one that sounds obsessed here is you OP.

I think he mocked your pic choice by doing the same.

If I wanted to be with him I could, If I wanted to talk to him I could. I don’t, I was just curious on why would someone do this ?

You can ask him and I think you should.  He has the answer.

he did it for the same reason you did it.

You keep asking this over and over.  The answer is: WHO CARES?  If you had a reason to "cut him off" then you shouldn't be wasting your time obsessing over his posts.  Find something else to do with your time.

Why would someone take the time and effort to make a post and obsess about the actions of a man that they are not interested in dating/have “cut off.”

These kind posts always befuddle me - “I don’t like him and I don’t want to date him - but please tell me what he was thinking when he did something completely random - do you think it means that he likes me?” No offence OP, but this is so middle school…

You're obsessed with the guy!  You might be obsessed with several fellows you have crossed paths with on the Internet, you do ask questions like this regularly.

Let me clue you in on one thing for certain:  If I, or any normal adult man,  was interested in some woman on the internet (I'll just leave out the fact that this type of interest would NEVER HAPPEN with somebody who was a text buddy who I had no real life connection with  who'd  "cut me off" but I digress),

we would NEVER decide to show our secret love for her by trying to duplicate a picture she'd posted on her social media.

Probably not even back in the 7th grade.

It's just and could / would never be a thing.

Oh, girl. You are lying to yourself.

You obviously do want him, or you wouldn't go to the trouble of starting a whole thread about it and arguing with posters to prove your point.

For what it's worth, I think he is making fun of you. He sees you as an easy target to mock and knows you want him enough to go batty trying to figure out what it's all about. You got played.
