Toodaloo Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 He pees sitting down! Thats fine. Loads of guys don't like splash back... Its a clean/ tidy thing... On a side note have you ever noticed that men have their own pee "ritual". They may stretch their necks or turn their heads or shake a leg... but their each have their own tiddle time ritual that they do before they pee... 2
jen1447 Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 Yes! Popsicle Did you see this or how do you know? Just trying to figure it out. Is he a heavy guy or does he have any prostate issues? Sometimes it can be harder for those types of ppl to pee standing up. 1

I saw him do it (even though I didn't want to see him do that, I was doing something in the bathroom mirror) and he's not heavy at all.

I'm not sure that I want know it either...

So you were in the bathroom together and he just sat down for a pee? Hm, not sure what to make of that. I'm sure Toodles isn't lying but I don't know any guys who've done that w/out going #2 (altho it's not like I've always been in there w/them). How did you react to it at the time - flee the bathroom? 2

Yes I was standing in the mirror by myself then he comes in and sit down on the toilet. I thought to myself "Wtf, is he seriously about to take a dump with me in there?". Then I fled thinking that might be the case but I heard him only pee and he came out very quickly. The whole thing was awkward. I'm not ready to pee around each other! I'm not sure I ever want to do that with a man again! 2

Is he from a non-western culture by any chance? 1
Author Popsicle Posted April 22, 2016 Author Posted April 22, 2016 Is he from a non-western culture by any chance? Nope he's a generic American.
jen1447 Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 Nope he's a generic American. Huh. Well I guess maybe just ask him about it if it's really a concern for you Popsi. (I'd find it odd too but who knows, maybe he thought he was just being polite or sth.) 1
smudge21 Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 I'm gone for a short while, come back and not only has Pops caught a bus but now she's found it's sprung a leak. You got to ask yourself, which is worse: him peeing sitting down, or if he took a dump whilst standing up? We all have unusual habits and shed loads of differences, and finding out about them can be part of the fun. At least he won't be leaving the toilet seat up. 2

(I'd find it odd too but who knows, maybe he thought he was just being polite or sth.) Gosh, I don't even know how to ask... I'm too embarrassed! At least he won't be leaving the toilet seat up. No, he won't, lol.
bluefeather Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 He pees sitting down! I totally lol'd. Hmm, maybe you can just ask him, "Hey, so do you pee sitting down or what was that about?" Best case scenario (although I'm not sure I'd consider it best?) - maybe he wanted to pee while you were there to be closer to you by sharing that experience... But he thought to be polite and not give you a sight to his dick shooting pee out? So he decided to just sit down? idk what else to think about that 2
thefooloftheyear Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 (edited) He pees sitting down! Splashback? Id think unless he was 3 feet tall or had a 24" dick, splash back wouldn't be a concern....If anything, id think its the other way around....Most guys, I would hope can pee without making a mess of the john... Kinda weird, but at the end of the day, not all that big of deal in the grand scheme...As a guy, I cant help but think that a woman that I just met might look unfavorably at that...meh... Edit.... Just reread it.....I thought you walked in on him by accident..You were in the bathroom and he just went in there, sat down, and took a leak? That's weird as hell.....If there was only one bathroom, Id either hold it till you were out of there, or take a walk out in the yard and pee behind a tree than do that.... Lansing Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 Sorry but I think you need to be careful with the "it is fun so I will see where this goes" thing. If you don't see a future with this guy and you eventually do want a future with "a guy" then I say you need to be careful with not letting this drag into 3 months, then 6 months, then a year and then have you realize you spent a year with this guy and it was just supposed to be "Fun" for you and you are going to leave this guy heart broken. You don't become gf/bf with someone if you are just looking for "fun" in my books. This guy doesn't sound like a catch to me based on what you have said and you have just started dating again I wouldn't settle for the first guy that comes around. I am not trying to tell you "what to do" although it might sound that way but just more a word of caution to not let the fantasy of having a bf and having a cool guy get around cloud your judgement. 1

I still don't really know what he wants. (And I'm fine with that, lol) 1
Author Popsicle Posted April 26, 2016 Author Posted April 26, 2016 I still don't really know what he wants. (And I'm fine with that, lol) He asked me what I wanted on Sunday (I don't know what made him ask that) so I told him what I wanted. Then he stared at me so hard in silence like he was burning a hole in me.

Author Popsicle Posted April 27, 2016 Author Posted April 27, 2016 then what happened? Then after that, he just went on like normal.
bluefeather Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Then after that, he just went on like normal. To stare at you for a long time and then go back to normal... does not sound normal. lol so is he ok with what you said or was he trying to hold his emotions back? 1

No, it was definitely an awkward and tense moment, for me at least. I'm completely clueless as to what he was thinking or what it meant, that's why I posted it here. I guess I just won't worry about it (I seem to be good at that). It'll be interesting to see if he continues to drop hints about the future now.

But kudos to you for being honest with him when he asked you! Now he can't say that he was led on. Well he can, but that would be... awkward? hehehe 1

Now he can't say that he was led on. Well he can, but that would be... awkward? hehehe Well, I don't know if I'm so innocent. See below.... What did you tell him you wanted? He asked me "What do you want?" Feeling uncomfortable, I started fumbling with something in my hand and said "I just want to hang out and get to know each other and have fun." Then he says, "And then what happens after we get to know each other?" Then I said "Then we evaluate it then". Then he stares at me for what felt like forever. ...Maybe he was just trying to figure out if I am going to dump him?
