Why am I too old for younger women?

You are totally wrong. I am surprrised at the lack of education people have received. The fact is there are many women here fearful of not getting a mate when they get older (you included) so they lash out at the OP for wanting a younger woman. To deny science because of your insecurities does not make the science invalid.

I think a woman's attractiveness peaks at 37-38. It is like a rose that has fully opened. From there it goes downhill

Also, a lot of woman just stop caring about themselves once they hit 40.

Dude. People are NOT "lashing out" at the OP because he wants a younger woman.

And the "scientific" explanations you've learned on PUA websites are validly dismissible by smart people worldwide.

It's cool that you have your parameters of women's windows of attractiveness all mapped out. How's your love life?

Not really wanting to belabor this, as in this case, I know I'm right, but do you even read your own links? Your new link says that though the risk of genetic defects doubles in men over 40, that it's STILL BELOW 1%. So it doubles from .5 to 1%? :lmao: I'm not even sure that's statistically significant enough to matter, which calls the predictive value and even measuring of that small increase into question.

You avoided my previous question, and will surely avoid this one too. Expressed as a % of likelihood, how much greater chance of genetic defect between a woman of 20 and a woman of 40? It sure ain't .5% Enough, really. You brought in the "crooked sperm" retort. It doesn't hold water. Men are more viable breeders as we age generally than women are. It's not that big a deal.

Yep. Young women are much more reproductive than old women. Old men can reproduce more successfully than old women, by a long shot.

Young women STILL don't want to date "Harry."

I don't find that Dr. Drew guy the least bit attractive. I'm 39 and he seems too old for me. He'd disagree, I'm sure. Doesn't make him any more attractive.

Haha, just had to throw that out there.

I'm sort of puzzled about the premise of this thread. The question 'why am I too old for younger women?' presumes that the reason the OP isn't scoring any hot young babes is because he's older. Maybe he's just not that attractive? I'm not saying that to be rude.

Anyway, otherwise a fun read!

(oh and as for 84% as good... remember they're kinda rubbish even in your twenties so being 84% as good isn't really so impressive)

Missed this. Get back to me when you pump out millions of eggs every time you get funky. 84% of the sperm in a single ejaculate will be many many multiples of the eggs a woman produces in her whole life. Not that that means anything, but neither does the above quote from you.

It only takes one, dear, and that one probably leaves its more dimwitted, crooked-tailed brothers in the dust to boot. :lmao:

I've provided empirical evidence.

Orly? That 50 y.o. sperm is 84% as viable as 20 y.o. sperm? That 40+ men are under 1% likely to produce genetic defect and 20 y.o.s .5%? That's your empirical evidence that men are not in fact more viable genetic breeders than women past 50? Ya got nothing, know I'm right, and just being difficult..

BTW, I'm not "old." Just don't like BS.

*edit. Also, if men were supposed to reproduce into old age, then things like Viagra wouldn't be needed.
:lmao:

Viagra and Cialis, two best sellers!! If old men are so virile, why do so many need drugs to help them get it up, never mind ejaculate?

What twenty or thirty year old wants a man who needs drugs to get it up?

And yet science still says women tend to marry men who earn more, the attractiveness of a mans wife will tend to correlate with his income and so on and on. I guess countless ages of genetic programming can't be undone in 50 years.

Men tend to make more money than women, even those in the same field or position. So whats your point again?

BTW, nurture aka social programming is as strong as nature (genetic programming) when it comes to human behavior. Just look at the women who are considered sexy in the media eye over the last 70 years. Its changed a bit, and every time it changes, guys are trying to grab that kinda woman.

So please tell me more about genetic programming. Because Im sure you will give me some bunk that comes from the so called science that is evo-psych.

PS - Marriages fail half the time, and some of the ones that dont fail have cheating spouses. So I wouldnt really use the social construct of marriage as something to lay a point on.

i don't want to reproduce with an older man simply because i want him to be healthy and able bodied to help raise the kids.

Also women don't continually produce eggs. We are born with a certain amount. Thats why around age 30 our clock starts ticking and we want to mate.

yeah. 5 more years, knock on wood. I want lots of babies one day. But. If i don't meet the guy i want to have babies with then i will get lots of animals.

My sister is the breeder anyway. I can just love on my niece and nephew. Can't get much cuter than them anyway!

Virility, viability, well they both begin with "v" at least. As far as why need drugs to get up and ejaculate, that has lots to do with the quality and skill of the company. Of course that's a verboten topic, ED must always be 100% due to some failing in the male. Older women need sex aids too, esp post menopause.

I provided two separate articles as well as a link to my own qualifications, you provided bupkiss.

You made conclusory statements in posts that your articles don't back up. You also resorted to a bad manners diploma stacking argument (which was inapt because taking a class in genetics does not a geneticist, urologist or any kind of medical doctor make) and told another poster they had a grade school education. I've resorted to such arguments myself, but only in referencing work experience, not the paper on my wall. Having a certain undergraduate degree means little anyway. Lots of baristas have those. I'd take a medical assistant to a urologist's word over someone with a degree in a mildly related field any day, regardless of the medical assistant's degrees.

Lol artificial eggs and sperms are on their way to free us from all these baby making crap.

Sweetkiwi, you dont have to limit yourself until 35. A good chunk of my aunts and uncles were born when my grandmothers were above 35. They are all healthy and even prettier than their older siblings lol
