I've got news for you.

Being your OWN boss and running your OWN business involves learning math. You have to be able to manage your accounting books. It is complicated and not easy.

It isn't just about being good with people.

Think long and hard about being your own boss and investigate -- really investigate! -- what it takes to be a small business owner.

I can do basic math, lol!

I mean, college level, algebra and such things.

I can add things up and prepare quotes (as I did in travel sales when I did the course)

Sorry, but I do not agree you need hard math to succeed in life.

It is easy to become a social worker (of course, you have to love reading a lot in order to GET he degree).

If I become a social worker, I will earn a living, and there is NO MATH whatsoever in that degree here iN AUS.

My friend told me; she is DOING the degree.

SO there.

And a sector that is going to be booming is aged care - something I would enjoy and be good at.

They tend to hire you if you have a degree - over a person without one.

So just getting the degree in and of itself will open doors for me, since I am going to seek fields that are to do with people, and I am good with people and sell myself well.
