I have a poster of six women near-naked (showing their backs with buttcrack showing). The only difference is that on their backs are Pink Floyd's six biggest albums.

Would this qualify as being a deal-breaker? Kinda curious.

I have that in my house and I'm a girl so I have to say no!

I wouldn't think anything of it.

Oh, so its like a silloutte (sp-?) of a female figure, got it.

No, not like a silhouette... probably something like this: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51wW2RQK3GL._SL160_.jpg

Like CE, I'd tell him he needs to grow up, but I wouldn't ask him to take it down.

(I haven't seen something like what OP describes on a dude's wall since college, FWIW.)

If you came into a guys house you had been dating and he had a poster of a girl that was naked but you cant see anything. What would your reaction be. My perspective is. It's my apartment and until someone pays my rent they cant tell me what I can and cant have. Basically. Is it a deal breaker?

I wouldn't tell you to take it down, obviously, but I would question your taste and maturity level, so depending on other factors, it could be a dealbreaker.

Neither of the linked posters would be suitable for an adult to display, maybe in a vacation cabin.

A tip for folks who want good prints and art on a budget... Ebay. You can browse 1000s of things in a short time and spend as little or as much as you like. You can buy frames there also.

That is exactly the type I'm talking about. :)

I wonder... The women that do not like these types of posters. Do you also think your man shouldn't view porn?

I would definetly take it down if you're bringing a girl to your place. She wants to feel the object of your worship and doesn't want to have air-brushed icons to compete with (especially is she has smaller tits).

No, no. It really ISN'T about being sexually uptight - it's about displaying low-class social cues. Though you probably should keep the blow up doll stashed in the closet when company comes over...

Nude art can be beautiful or amazing/interesting (like Picasso's work), but girlie posters are a bit different and not really classy.

It's not really a deal-breaker just by itself, but what a guy puts on his walls does show a bit what he values.

I agree it's very high school, hence a big turn-off. I wouldn't date him again. In fact, I'd probably cut the evening short and get out of there quickly.

Oooh, those are some hotties. Well, maybe if he had it in his basement or garage, I wouldn't care.

Well OP, I surmise that since you're so adamant with standing your ground and keeping the poster (since you pay your own rent and all...), you'll most likely be spending the night with the poster instead, so it's all good. :lmao::p

My boyfriend's 25 year old brother has a poster of a scantly dressed woman sitting in a boxing ring with her legs spread wide open and boxing gloves on. But he also has posters of Dragonball Z, Streetfighter, and Vampire Hunter D on his walls. :lmao:

So yeah... a bit immature and definitely tacky.

BTW, boyfriend's bro is definitely what some would consider attractive with a hot body. He is an MMA fighter, and is very fit. But he is socially awkward when it comes to women, and I have never known him to have a girlfriend.

The Pink Floyd poster is more artistic, especially if it is framed. Boyfriend's sister has that up on her wall.

I have a framed poster of Jake Sully and Natira from Avatar on my wall. Some kids never grow up.

Nope, I am fine with my boyfriend viewing porn and I myself watch it on a regular basis when he's not around.

As knitress said, it's about the low class cues having such a poster gives off. The two things that would come to mind upon seeing it on a guys wall would be "sexually frustrated teenager" and "trashy overgrown man-child."
