I had to take a look at your picture Alex and, wow, you look like a MAN. By your posts, I got the impression that you were kind of immature with your focus on looks & rating women by numbers (and your avatar). My mental image of you was Wayne from "Wayne's World." Sorry

To be fair, I posted a recent photo of me on profile. I suggest that anybody who thinks that 40 year old women can't be youthful and attractive, should check my photo. Btw, I have had no surgery, no botox, and I don't even dye my hair. But it doesn't matter that my looks are an 8, 9, 10, whatever, it hasn't made dating easier. I get lots of dates, but it doesn't convert into an LTR.

I think dating is tough after 40, especially if a person has a great balance of qualities. Alex, I hope we keep talking on LS. I need a network of kindred spirits to vent to.

P.S. Mad Max - I date a lot of younger men (as young as 25), but they need to have their own place. And hopefully have mothers that are at least 10 years older than me. ;)

My mom is only 46. And I'm 22, so I have to wait 3 years.

You probably have plenty of women your age all over you. You don't need me. :)

Not a matter of needing you. I'd prefer you over most my age.

I don't mean to hijack Alex's thread, but...

Max, I know exactly what you are saying. I'd love to find a man my age, but most of them (Alex excluded) are chasing 23-30 year olds, who aren't even prettier than me.

I don't really have age limits. If a good guy who is say *cough* 22 *cough* wanted to invite me for coffee or dinner, I wouldn't say no. ;)

Glad to see your pic :) ..Yeah, we'll keep talking, lol...

I see it easier dating after 40... alot of moms , their kids are older, they have more flexibility, these women are independent, they don't want any more kids...
