Stung Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 Well, the whole idea of going out of your way to avoid men....not sure why some women do this. I do think if a woman is going out of her way to avoid most of the time, or in every facet of her life, that's obviously a sign that something is wrong and she probably has some kind of issue. But feeling more comfortable specifically drinking and letting her guard down around either other women or gay men doesn't seem weird to me, unless she does it so often that it indicates she has a drinking problem and/or no other social life. I also think it can be healthy for people to take a breather from the ratrace of dating now and again and make sure they are centered and not pursuing romance/sex for bad reasons.
