AD1980 Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Surely you're not going to accept this right? I think you're selling yourself short big time man. I mean, I haven't had the greatest successes, but on the flip side, I rarely tried most of my life. So I got the proper results. Now I'm making proper adjustments. Don't just quit like that man. im just tired of being ignored and rejected why waste my or their time

Author MrNate Posted August 24, 2010 Author Posted August 24, 2010 ehh ive tried to stay positive but nothing works theres only so many hits to my pride and dignity i can take I don't think so man. I think you an have it in limitless amounts. You don't have a meter when it comes to these things. I think having the guts to keep going at it will take you (as well as anyone) far.
Eeyore79 Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 I guess i could have reworded that to say would you take a hot person over an average one if you could. No, I wouldn't take a hot person over an average one just because I could - it would depend on their personalities. If the average guy was really sweet and nice and smart, and the hot guy was a bit of a dick, obviously I'd take the average guy because he'd be a better partner. If two guys were identical in every way except looks, then obviously I'd prefer the hotter one, but it's a moot point because in reality no two people are the same. People are not interchangeable; everyone is a unique package, and the desirability of that package is not based solely on looks.
Chubbi Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 It depends. A person who can really crack me up will superceed someone with great looks but not my style of humor. I become proud of myself when I become attracted to someone who I thought wasn't physically attractive initially. It makes me feel good to know I'm not all that shallow.
AverageJoe Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 Shallow; a derogatory pejorative bestowed within a furnace of insecure females fanning the flames of what they wished happend to them. There is nothing wrong with being shallow as long as your insightful about it.

JohnP82 Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 Looks are the most important thing right off the bat. After that personality matters.
