Just saying something along the lines of you saw on facebook that she has an audition and that this makes you uncomfortable because you were hoping... If I was just dating a guy and he said something along those lines to me I would listen to his opinion and go from there. However, if he said to me "you are not doing that" then that is a completely different story. I don't think any harm can come from mentioning how you feel to her as long as you remain calm, as already mentioned. Yeah it is good advice, I think I do need to say something, I feel actually sick now, it's upset me quite a lot in all honesty, damn.

I do like what you're saying, but I still feel it'll only be right if she actually tells me/asks my opinion, which so far she hasn't. If you can wait then perhaps do so when you are set to see her anyway. She may not even get in. She must guess you read about this on fb. Doesn't matter whether she has asked you or not, your feelings are as important as hers.

See this as practice for the future. Expressing your feelings constructively is an essential skill to develop. It's difficult too.
Author chocolate_boy Posted August 14, 2010 Author Posted August 14, 2010 I dropped her text tonight just to see how she was doing, we ended up talking for a while, asked her how her day was etc, but she didn't mention it. Hmmn. She told me she wishes I was there with her now, and she loves lying in my arms, our conversation was nice, but just bit frustrated I don't seem to be able to think of a way to approach it. Turns out its not on this monday, the audition is the week after, shes still talking about it on facebook. I've arranged to see her twice next week, staying at hers one night, I really don't want to mess this up. I thought even if she got through the audition they might not film the show for months yet, which makes me more cautious.
