mr.dream merchant Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 End goal? With the risk of sounding like a typical man, I need to get laid. However girl B is on my mind beyond just sex. She's attractive and intellectually stimulating. We discussed literature, movies, travel, religion and a lot of things. She told me the last guy she was seeing was just supposed to be a summer fling and it didn't work out because he was a jerk. If we got involved I might just be a summer thing. Keeping in contact with both is my goal, but I have to do it without angering the other and I already pissed off A eating lunch with B. I'm not shallow, I like B more but the fact that she's leaving is the X factor. Causing workplace drama is the other issue, but I have to get Bs number today. I am just trying to go with the flow and act on impulse. That's what's good. Bro, you got this.
Author Engadget Posted August 11, 2010 Author Posted August 11, 2010 Maybe not. Just talked to A and hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. After saying I'm a player and she's not going to get ****ed over, today she's saying she just wants to be friends. So she switched gears, likely because she's been hurt in the past. I told her its fine for us to just be friends, so I guess we will see how that goes.

What's the point of being friend's with a woman you want to sleep with? That's just lying to yourself and her. So when they say friend's, I just think "acquaintance". Treat her like a regular acquaintance at work. Don't feed her too much attention, but just enough to keep her around. Be non-chalant about her presence and B's. She may come around.

Yeah she clearly liked me, and the whole "let's be friends" thing is a strong reaction to feeling like I betrayed her for the other girl. I think there's still a good chance, but it'll take her getting over feeling betrayed. She's acting like she only wanted to be friends from the start, but the conversations we had say the total opposite. So she's just mad, she'll either get over it or not, we'll see.
Author Engadget Posted August 12, 2010 Author Posted August 12, 2010 Update time: Girl A, super pissed at me. Won't respond to my messages, gives me looks at work. When she saw me and girl B talking, she burned a hole through me with her eyes. Girl B, got her number and we're going out tomorrow and Saturday. She's skeptical of me because she knows of girl A, and I'm reassuring her I'm not a player. I really, really like this girl. We talk so much working together and it's never awkward and it always feels right. Talked to her about her leaving and she said she'd love to have me come visit her at school. Only thing is, I'm not sure an exclusive relationship would be the right thing to do. She's going away to college for the first time and I'd feel like I was holding her back from meeting other guys. Cross that with really liking her and I'm a little conflicted. Of course it's my luck that I meet the first girl I REALLY like and she's leaving.
WintersNightTraveler Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 Neither if you like the job. Neither if you are looking for something serious (A is over the top jealous and B is leaving). Both if you just are looking for tail.
Author Engadget Posted August 12, 2010 Author Posted August 12, 2010 Neither if you like the job. Neither if you are looking for something serious (A is over the top jealous and B is leaving). Both if you just are looking for tail. 1. Not a big deal, there's a lot of grab-assing and people getting with people at this place. It's very "free" in that aspect. 2. B could develop into something serious. 3. Yeah, A would pretty much be for tail. B is more about being serious with. Oh and A finally responded, still pissed at me of course.
Feelin Frisky Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 Go out with girl B, let her know you like her,but dno't wnat an LDR. Keep in touch with her. Go out with girl A if you want, but I am sure you are aware the problems of sh--ting where you eat. Otherwise, look for girl C. Pretty much. Hot as girl A may seems she may be problematic with what you said about her (texting, shy, unworldly wise and working so close). But if you are a player and don't give that much of a shi+, and won't be bothered by workplace fallout, dig in.
Green Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 I personaly don't enjoy just dating a girl to get laid. (I've never done that) I only persue/date women who I find attractive in every single way. The kind of girl I'd go to hell and back for and gladly risk life an limb to save. You always seem to be going out with girls you don't seem that into. If you were really into girl A or B you wouldn't really need our help deciding because there would be no contest.

I gathered that B had more GF potential but you need to be realistic about her. Going away for school is the seasonal black death among young love. Just cause A's acting pissed it doesn't mean she doesn't want you sticking it in her. I say go all in on Plan C (both of them), or do something less dicey, maybe work on your slapshot or drive a fast car or something. Good luck...

I'm well aware her going away would make a real relationship difficult if not impossible. I'm not even sure I'd officially date her, because I'd want her to get the college experience and hookups that may come with that. Girl A is clearly still interested in me, especially with the looks she gives me. However she's pissed I kind of abandoned her for girl B, and it was funny having girl B even kind of scold me for it in a lighthearted way. We'll see with the date girl B and I have saturday, and the bar trip tomorrow which she's technically too young for. However I used my considerable bad boy influence to convince her to go. It just sucks that my luck is to meet a girl I'm smitten with and she's leaving.
Jilly Bean Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 Didn't you post that girl A blew you off for your first date? Yet, you're still so sure she's so into you. Odd. When women are into guys, they don't blow them off. Just a tip. It's more perplexing you're convinced you could have a serious relationship with B, when you haven't even gone on a date with her. It's just hilarious that you're talking about how you don't want to hold her back from meeting other guys at college and how an exclusive relationship wouldn't be fair to her, and you haven't even had a date. lol. Lastly, do you ever consider dating women your own age? I thought you were in your mid-20's. Dating teens seems strange at your age. It just seems like you need to get your feet on the ground and live in reality a bit more rather than this fantasy world. Slow it way down, and stop putting the cart before the horse. Anyway, I vote you go for neither. Girl A is playing you, and girl B is moving on.

I guess I could have made it work but I was tired, so I slept. B is the TYPE of girl I could see myself dating. We've been talking for pretty much eight hours a day for three days straight. Is there something wrong with being 25 and dating a 19 year old? It's barely an age gap. If she was 16, then perhaps what you say would make sense. Oh, and have dated women my own age, didn't work out. Love older women too, and I just haven't gotten to know any well enough yet. I guess there's some at this work place I could go for too, but we'll see post B leaving. So we'll see

Laws of attraction will determine if the guy tries and if the girl accepts. I do think you act like a player though and treat these girls like crap. Then in turn you get dumped and feel bad about it.
