So, how often do you two see each other?

I don't think he was hinting at moving in together. I think it would be a good idea to stop looking for signs and look at his actions to see how they match up with his words. What is he doing to make you think he wants the same things?

I know you want things to be the way they used to be, but they may not be that way. Would you be able to handle that?

We see each other 4/5/6 nights/days a week - depending on if one of us is away for the weekend.

His actions I guess, have been discussing moving in together, asking if I'd move away with him in a month or two to be closer to his family, he's started looking for jobs today as well.

We talked on the phone last night and I asked him why he'd said he wanted to sit down and plan out our future on holiday and then didn't do it. He gave a fairly vague answer which I wasn't happy with, said he wants to move in with me and asked to see me tonight so we can talk about it.

To be honest, I get the feeling he isn't 100% sure and he's been wavering. Now if we talk about it tonight and I say I've got fed up of everything he's been saying for the last two months, I think he'll give me an excuse not to move in together.

I've got fed up of the to-ing and fro-ing, and silly excuses he gave 3 months ago for not moving in, then changing his mind.

Basically I think I've come to the point where I want a point. It's nearly 9 months we've been together and plans have been thrown around for the last 3 months. I feel a little frustrated and confused, and have been easy going and let him carry things along.

Would I be able to handle it if things don't get back to the way they were? Re. the motivation to get up and do stuff in the day and smoking, if that doesn't change I'm out. Re. the stubbornness and argumentativeness and inability to handle communication and conflict, I'm willing to work on that.
