SpanksTheMonkey Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 Cliff's notes? All I read was "she's druged, I took advantage of her and got a blow job"... enjoy it... give her some x next time, enjoy it... pop her pooper, too... just use protection, as she's probably sleeping with more than one guy... at each party she goes to, lol... enjoy NO NO NO she blew him after their 1st meeting but shes NOT easy shes perfect and it was written in the stars! I don't mean to offend op but I truly hate to see you set yourself up to get hurt. You have those rose colored "love glasses" on now trust me shes no Mother Teresa you weren't her 1st party hook up and you wont be her last...
SarahRose Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 Spot on Sara thats why I never buy that "its because overweight is unhealthy" crap no its not because of that its because of how it looks! Lets call a spade a spade if you want to make judgments based on looks alone then fine but OWN it ok mini rant over sorry for going a tad OT.. What they really are saying she can do drugs, smoke, eat kittens, steal things, curse their elderly grandmother, be unemployed, 8th grade drop out, etc. etc. as long as she is hot. It is only about how it looks. That is all. There are plenty of thin people doing very unhealthy things but nobody cares about that.

Ha ha I actually knew that women totally messed up hard and I mean HARD core druggie im fairly sure she ate kittens as well as she was also a raving b**ch that was common knowledge among our group of friends. How ever guys flocked to her like moths to a bond fire it was a interesting dynamic to watch mind you these guys wanted to be bfs not ons. The girl was honestly not single for more then a week as she was smoking hot. Her sister however was not a drug user at all but a little overweight and more "cute then hot" was lucky to get a bf once a year.
TheBigQuestion Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 If there's one thing I've learned about drugs over the years, it's that their usage tends to attract a very bad crowd sooner or later. Weed and a few hallucinogens are the only exceptions, but of course the latter also have significant health risks if done repeatedly. The drugs themselves are not the only issue when it comes to dating. One issue is that, due to the criminal status of a lot of drugs, you nearly always associate with drug dealers and other unsavory characters either directly or indirectly. Most people who get into harder drugs like cocaine, heroin, prescription opiates, meth, and so forth, are either complete basket cases or become that way because of the toll these drugs take. Even if it's "in the past" or if they are recovering users, you're still volunteering yourself for a world of emotional baggage that an emotionally stable person is not ready (nor should be willing) to deal with. One of my personal rules about dating is that I don't really get involved with anyone that I feel has done more "messed up" stuff than I have. For instance, I've never done coke, so I really wouldn't be comfortable dating a person who has made a habit out of that, or who even just parties with it every now and then either. There's just something exceedingly low-brow and seedy about a bunch of people kneeling over a bathroom counter snorting white powder into their noses that can't be compared to drinking or smoking weed. Likewise, I've never engaged in any cutting or other self-injury, so I wouldn't feel comfortable getting emotionally entangled with someone who hates herself enough to do that. You basically just want to get with people who are the most like you, and whose actions reflect the same values that you possess.
seekandfind Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 Casual usage balanced with emotional maturity, healthy family life, and responsibility in other aspects of life (school, work, etc..) is not that bad at all. the more addictive, damaging drugs like coke and such are obviously a bigger issue. Age is also a huge factor, you only get to be in college once! I only have one year left haha, and I'm gonna make it a fun one. But I get really good grades, I have a summer research position, 2 part-time jobs during the year, good social life, loving family, etc.. so I think smoking weed every now and then and maybe trying shrooms or ecstasy isn't a huge deal (i haven't ventured past weed yet, but have considered it).
EasyHeart Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 I think it's pretty normal to experiment with drugs when you're 20. It's also a great situation to get yourself messed up and do stupid things. But if a person is still 30 and drugs or alcohol are a significant portion of their life, then I'd have no interest.
