OK, now I have to kick you from the misanthrope club, but I also happen to have some ties to the narcissist club, and could probably help you get into that one  They won't need the sex appeal hot bikini pics though because the only pics they ever look at are of themselves.

Hahaha loads of clubs out there  although I don't really fit in to the misanthrope club cause I'm only a sometimes misanthrope... which doesn't count. Goodluck trying to find a new PR officer =D

This is illegal my friend.

I know.... I DO realize how dangerous it is to text and drive that's why I am refraining from it....most of the time...im trying, im trying...

Asian female driver who TEXTS while driving? Do you wear a kamikaze headband when you do this? OK, I'm gonna leave that one alone because I can't decide whether I hate you for the obvious stereotype or love you for the "I don't give a sh*t" utter disregard for human life and limb attitude (which of course I admire greatly). They say love sits right next to hate on the thermometer anyway.:lmao:

hey...hey....I do not have "utter disregard for human life and limb attitude"...a simple "disregard for human life and limb" is more accurate-don't get carried away....

As far as cute animals, wok is no good, go with a pressure cooker. Kittens, for instance, can jump right out of a wok when it gets hot enough unless the peanut oil is very slippery. Pressure cooker leaves nothing to chance.

hmmm...you ARE Asian, are you not? or been married to one....?

If you read LS lately youll see a lot more authentic misogyny than his Mickey Mouse posts

Marvellous. Kind of like the self assembled, own song writing, caterwauling indie rock bands of the misogyny world. All congregating on this little pink site of ours to shake the foundations of female Loveshack souls here with their undiluted hatred?

I knew there was a reason I've been losing interest in this site lately.

The Misogyny bot threads/posts are a perfect example of Gresham's Law operating in public internet forums. Where truth equals opinion and the degree of truth is measured by intensity of the poster's obsession du jour.

There's a new epistemology about where delusion, stereotype and keyboard pounding, not knowledge, equal power.

If I believe something strongly enough, despite massive evidence to the contrary, then it must be true.

The Shack can fuel delusions and prejudices and give a false sense of empowerment and validation to the misguided.

Yet another law--of unintended consequences.

This has always been true of the human race. We, for the most part, are intellectually lazy beings who value our emotional desires over reality or truth. As such we praise the notion of holding beliefs without any evidence as a testament to our connection to the divine and drown out that which doesn't agree with our worldviews for as long as we can get away with it. Peddling delusion and stereotypes (aka demonizing your enemy) to acquire or better utilize power has happened throughout history so why should this come as a surprise to you?

For me, it's early in the morning. I'm much more naive and idealistic in the AM.

Plus, hope always springs eternal.:)

When people cant handle the real truth they become defensive and blame those who spoke the truth for not agreeing

And just how exactly does "Gresham's Law" come into play here? The competition between two currencies circulating in an economy may or may not be a zero sum game, if we consider the currencies to be the participants in a game, determined by the state of inflation in said economy. But the inflation in posts on any particular forum is never a zero sum game, in fact it's always win-win, because raw post volume alone, not the quality of the posts, determines the popularity and accesibility of the forum. Contrary to your claim, as long as the posts are not spam, more posts is always a good thing for a forum, or any other site ranked in search engines. Posts you consider "bad" bolster the visibility of posts you consider "good," rather than hiding them, or causing them to be "hoarded."

Moreover, on the internet, one man's trash is another man's treasure. There are no objective standards of value for the most part, especially where opinion forums or blogs are concerned. In order for Gresham's Law to be applicable at all, there must be some objective norm where value is concerned, among all economic participants' perception of at least two quantities (currencies) in circulation. Why did you even cite Gresham's Law? Perhaps I misunderstand your point?

There's a new epistemology about where delusion, stereotype and keyboard pounding, not knowledge, equal power.

You are misusing the word "epistemology" dreadfully, and moreover, are engaging in an ad hominem fallacy, thinly veiled in latinate language, that people who disagree with you are deluded. The rest of your post merely repeats the fallacy in different forms.

Would the two of you please let up with the hyper-intellectual posturing and measure your d--ks against each other in the traditional way - go out and race your Corvettes or something?

I could just say one phrase to sum up how I feel about everyone.

Everyone sucks but me.

Everybody sucks but me.

Everybody can lick my balls but me.

You probably take a lot of crap around here with your attitude Woggle, but there is plenty of wisdom in what I have been reading from you tonight. Really.

People don't like to accept things as they really truly are, they prefer the illusions. The older I get, the less illusion I care to perpetuate or participate in. It takes too much of my energy that I need desperately for other things. Being a realist is a much better way to go.

Wogs is one of the superstars here. I hope he keeps going and keeping it real.

Being honestly grumpy beats all the make-believe/feel good crap any day :lmao:

Well that's ok, but I'm not really feeling the bile, my misanthrope sista. Readers have to get the idea that you are raging and spitting at your computer screen when you type this stuff up. You need to work some implied mental imbalance into the mix. Just trying to help you be the best, angriest misanthrope you can be :)

Fail :lmao:. The true misantrope hates people in a very measured, cold, rational, as-a-matter-of-fact-ly way ;).

This above kind of trash post is exactly what I'm talking about, and demonstrates why Gresham's Law is inapplicable to internet forums. Despite the fact that the post is a combination of two different logical fallacies, and has no substance whatsoever, it isn't spam, and so is good for the forum, as it creates new content for the site that will lead to more favorable search engine rankings. Moreover, it boosts the visibility of the non-trash posts in the thread by bumping the thread. So as opposed to hiding substantive posts, as Gresham's law would dictate, it instead promotes their circulation.

And as far as corvettes go, Trimmer, I don't have one in the driveway, mine is between my ears. Vroooom! Vroooom!

"Trash post" is too kind. It's an unprovoked attack, which adds nothing of value.

Note to Trimmer: meerkat and I will write the way we choose and if that offends your Highness put us on your Ignore List.

You're on mine.

I don't feel I am grumpy. I just tell it like it is and some people don't like it. The true irony is that I have what many men want yet I am told I am wrong for how I feel.

By commodity value of each side and credentials, do you mean who determines the inherent value of the specie involved in the Gresham's Law application? or the commodity values and credentials of your many adoring prospective patrons here on LS?

You know, my posts would be ever so much more funny and entertaining under the influence of some fentanyl, can you fax me a scrip? There's a 24 hour pharmacy down the road... :bunny: :bunny: I need some oral type though, scared of needles! Maybe I should just go chug some more Nyquil?
