jerseyboy Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 i don't find that hairstyle attractive at all. i'm glad my hair isn't that short lol she is pretty in the face though LOL With those lips and cheekbones, I wouldnt care if she were bald;)
Author newbiegrl Posted November 26, 2009 Author Posted November 26, 2009 has anyone noticed though how a lot of the very pretty girls have very long hair? and this is not just every day people. its celebs, models ect . i'm not saying all very pretty girls have long hair, but seems like many do i also have known a few girls who look worse with longer hair. for some reason they look great with very, very short hair
jerseyboy Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 def. not a problem for me, and I think most guys. link I dont like her face at all
Author newbiegrl Posted November 26, 2009 Author Posted November 26, 2009 Very nice http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_y2Pxq1jHI8A/SQWxdJnIixI/AAAAAAAABtY/ZqadtnZp_WA/s400/Short+hairstyle+01.jpg Not short but I love her abs and hips http://media.photobucket.com/image/short%20hair%20styles/nicole13xo/z546.jpg I always thought katie holmes(in the first link) looked way better with longer hair.
jerseyboy Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 I always thought katie holmes(in the first link) looked way better with longer hair. I didnt even know it was her. I just googled short hair images I always wondered who Katie Holmes was
threebyfate Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 My general argument: Anyone who looks good with short hair looks even better with long hair.I disagree. Think Halle Berry. Her best haircut was the pixie cut.
VeveCakes Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 how short is your hair? just wondering. It was cut like Victoria Beckhams, it has grown a few inches since then. Originally it was down the middle of my back.

jerseyboy Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 If thats the same girl, she looks better to me with short hair than that pic
Vertex Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 I disagree. Think Halle Berry. Her best haircut was the pixie cut. Haha, Halle Berry was actually the exact person I was thinking of -- she does look great with short hair, but I think she looks marginally better with longer hair. She pulls off both styles quite well though, admittedly.

threebyfate Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 I stand corrected about Halle Berry, Gentlemen. But what would I know. I'm just a chick!
carhill Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 I noted a lot of friend's wives going to 'mom' hair after having kids; essentially, hair short enough to easily take care of but long enough to pull back into a pony tail when doing mom stuff. Simple cuts and minimal coloring and/or weaving. What appears to be an asymmetrical shattered shag (in the first link offered) is a style my stbx did occasionally on young clients; I liked it because it is visually interesting and also highlights the woman's neck, which is a treasure trove of erogenous zones. A simpler short cut, but equally titillating, is the classic bob
sedgwick Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 Would you WANT to be with someone who was so shallow he couldn't date you because of your HAIR?!
Island Girl Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 Your hair isn't going to grow that much before you see him - unless you wait months and months. Before you get any deeper just exchange pics. I'm sure he won't care. There are not many guys out there who draw a hard fast line when it comes to hairstyle or fashion, etc. In fact most would rather we didn't wear a whole lot of make up, didn't spend a whole lot of time on curling, blow drying, gelling/moussing, and hair spraying our hair in the first place. IF it is going to be a big deal maybe you should cut to the chase now so you can move on and not waste your time.
D-Lish Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 Haha, Halle Berry was actually the exact person I was thinking of -- she does look great with short hair, but I think she looks marginally better with longer hair. But back to the OP- Just above the shoulder or below the chin isn't all that short. When I think short I think pixie. When you're pretty- you're pretty- a shorter haircut isn't going to offend a man.

Hair pulled back is always better imo
Stockalone Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 I stand corrected about Halle Berry, Gentlemen. But what would I know. I'm just a chick! Obviously, the short hair "avoiders" like myself come out of the woodwork in such a thread. And I really can't stand Halle Berry, not even with long hair. When you're pretty- you're pretty- a shorter haircut isn't going to offend a man. Offend? No. A turn-off? Yes.

AD1980 Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 Dont like short hair,it seems to be the i give up hair with older women making em look like lesbians
Author newbiegrl Posted November 26, 2009 Author Posted November 26, 2009 i didn't remember Halle Berry with long hair , but i found this. i have to say i really like the long hair better. she looks good either way though. here are a few links of both hairstyles http://z.about.com/d/beauty/1/0/h/v/halle_berry.jpg http://www.cahair.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/halleberrysummerhairstyles-2.jpg http://www.arizonafoothillsmagazine.com/afm-style-files/wp-content/uploads/halle-berry-short-hair.jpg http://hair-craft.co.uk/files/Halle%20Berry%20short%20style.jpg
Author newbiegrl Posted November 26, 2009 Author Posted November 26, 2009 Post your pic, Lets see the hair no chance lol well its not as short as Halle Berry's so maybe it won't matter. if a guy wouldn't date me because of hair length i would say he was definitely shallow. maybe he is weird and has some kind of long hair fetish lol

Stockalone Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 Newbiegrl, I really think there is no reason for you to worry. This isn't the first thread about long hair vs. short hair. You can usually count guys like me who really don't like short hair on one hand. Judging by the answers in previous threads and what I have seen in real life, the vast majority of men really don't care even if you have very short hair. And yours isn't even that short. Just send that guy you are talking to a recent photo and see what happens. There is a very good chance that that he will like your hair the way it is.
