Green Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 I met a gir hanging out down town on a Friday night. I got her number telling her I'd like to take her out some time. Today I tried calling and got her voice mail so I just hung up I really hate leaving messages. Its been a few hours now and I'm starting to doubt I'm going to get a call back. I'll probably just try calling again Wednesday, maybe send a txt. God damn phone game

If a guy called me twice and then texted I'd find it very cute because it would show he was nervous, but he would lose a few points on the confidence board. So far, no phone game can even be played. I can see that a guy has called me on my cell phone, but if he doesn't leave a message, then why would I call him back exactly? To say what? "Hi, I saw you called?" See, she almost can't call back because that would make her look like a desperate loser who spends her time trying to guess who is calling her on her cell phone. That is why you have to accept the deep wisdom that has been imparted to you: leave a message.

I know I usually turn off my phone to preserve battery or the phone's dead from lack thereof.... or I've turned my phone to vibrate or silent.... but that's just me.

No respect I'm failing to see how she was disrespectful KMT - especially since you didn't leave a message and there is no way you can be sure that she has call display (for starters)... Situations like these are precisely why you leave a message. Now if you had left a message and she hadn't returned the call, then we can start talking about lack of interest. but we covered the leave a message ground. And now that I think about it, when my phone is off I don't always get the missed calls signals. But that is all besides the point: I mean, KMT, HMA - So what really? There are three billion girls out there.(Ok one of them is my grandma and she's off limit you hear?). Try getting in touch with her on Wed and if this girl doesn't work out, another one will come along shortly. Geez, this is practically word for word KMT advice. If its a cell phone, then don't you have the option to just leave your callback number? You should do that if you don't like to leave a message.

It was loud so I couldn't hear her voice that well. But in recorded form it didn't sound great, but I'm not all that big on voices any way

I called her once already and made the choice not to leave some msg. I'll try again wednesday, and if she doesn't answer I'll try to have a cool msg prepared. I got the number Friday night, technicaly Saturday morning, so I don't think waiting till wednesday afternoon is to much of a foul
