That wouldn't really work because everyone already knows that he's married. Why would someone question a husband having sex with his wife? How would a wife giving her husband a hicky prove that he wasn't cheating?

What would the point be? The MM can easily avoid you for a week unlike his wife who he shares a bed, a bathroom, a shower and so many other things with. Also you KNOW about the wife. You know he is going home to her every evening. Why would the married man even hesitate to say oh my wife did that when you know about her? The wife isn't a secret. One OW even said her MM admits to sleeping with his wife because, as he says, he has to keep the charade going. Oh the sacrifices these married men make actually having sex with their wives.

If he told his wife he was no longer in an affair with the ow, but still is, he wouldn't let his wife give him a passion mark for fear of the ow seeing it. He would pull away from his wife not allowing her to leave one. Wouldn't that throw up a red flag? Is he still cheating or not?

First of all I don't know who you are replying to. renee or ByMyRules, but I'll comment. The mm, supposedly, is lying to both the ow & wife right? So why wouldn't the hicky thing work to catch him still in the affair. Unless the wife is ok with her husband sharing a bed, bathroom, bodily fluids with some one else every evening. ? ? ?

When it would occur to him that I was spending a little long in one spot, he would say, "hey, what are you doing?". I would make up some comepletely silly excuse like by the end of next week you'll have a belt of hickeys won't that be fun! One for each time! He never stopped me but it always bothered him. I don't bother anymore, don't care really! At the time though I did.

I think she was trying to get us all into a tizzy (is that how you spell it?). But it sounds like this guys got it made. With all the hickeys he's getting neither the wife or the OW will know which is which.

Even if his W found out about the affair, it doesn't mean that the OW knows she found out about it. He may have dealt with it on his own without telling the OW anything. If the MM is so good at lying about his wife then he is good enough to come up with a reason why he had sex with her or as you say, not see the OW until it's gone. No matter what, being able to give your husband a hickey doesn't prove that he is not having an affair. It works to say that a OW can give a MM a hickey to show a wife that is having sex with her husband that he is in an affair, but it doesn't work the other way around.
