ScottyV Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago I know this sounds ridiculous but there is this woman where I work and she happens to be my supervisor. I have known her for quite a while and have always had feelings for her, first just generally attracted to her but has grown to knowing that, if given the chance Id absolutely fall in love with her. I have kept those feelings to myself however because of the ethics involved in interpersonal relationships inside a workplace much less her being my supervisor. We do have somewhat of a personal friendship where we speak freely in person and on various social media apps such as messenger. The other day I learned that she was being transferred to another facility within the company and at that point she will no longer be in my chain of command. Would it still be unethical to pursue my feelings for her? She is basically everything I've ever looked for in a woman but I've never found until now but I am struggling still to make a decision to commit to conveying my feelings for her or not. I know dumping that on her all at once probably would not be a good idea so I would like to at least start with maybe meeting up for coffee and having some friendly conversation that could gently and slowly lead into a more heavy conversation over time. Would this be okay to do or should I just let the current friendship ride? Quote
kenyanzuru Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago now is the right time to show her signs don't tell her or go straight to the point coz it will be weird since she's going to be transferred just start showing her sign's like always ask her how she's doing all those check ups will communicate and if she's sharp enough she will understand but if she won't don't insist coz it might course a miss understanding Wich is unnecessary Quote
