Do you think a smaller wedding makes the day more enjoyable?

I’ve been thinking about how different weddings can feel depending on the size. Some couples have a big celebration with lots of family and friends, while others choose something much smaller and more personal.

For those who’ve planned a small wedding or elopement, did having fewer guests make the day feel more relaxed or meaningful? Or did you find yourself wishing you had invited more people?

I’d be curious to hear what others chose and what made you decide on the size of your wedding.

Hmmmm ... not sure about this one. Just in the past year, I went to a really big well-attended wedding over a weekend. Party, band, dj ... great food and so on ... really good!

And then I went to a small wedding, about 20 members of a family--over a weekend ... equally satisfying in a different way. And I think each couple really enjoyed their wedding. 

Really, the key thing is to marry a person who is good for you. Solve that one. The ceremony can take care of itself.
