Big age gap relationship - 30 years difference

I am a guy and I am seeing this guy for about 2 months now, we started with texting and developed into something romantic. We enjoyed talking and hanging out for the first few weeks. Since I care about him,  I have been giving him extra cash for dinners and daily expenses which I don’t mind at all. But the last 2 weeks, he doesn’t want to hang out anymore, because he is busy with work and school, which I totally understand. But he has been asking if I can continue giving him cash even though he doesn’t want to see me and hang out with me anymore. Should I just give in to his request or cut off any communications?  I really like him but I feel I’m just being used. Please give some sound advice on what should I do. My heart says stick with him but my mind says otherwise.

Serious question - why would you? 

He isn't going to stick around. It would be foolish to keep giving this person money.

he doesn't want to hang out with you, but he wants you to keep giving him money.
