Am I wrong for not minding my sons relationship?

My son is 18 and is in what he told me a casual relationship with a much older man whos 33. He said the man started flirting with him and they went to his place to have sex. Its ongoing for a few weeks. I asked him how he feels and he says he enjoys time with him and that its mostly sexual. I told him to stay safe and let me know if something goes wrong and that he should enjoy himself.

I got really negative feedback from some people for not doing anything,  but I think I done enough and my son is an adult, and can do what he wants.

Your son tells you about his sex life?

He's 18, even if you think the other guy is too old there's not much you could do about it. No need to worry until he starts telling you he's getting it on with old age pensioners.

No, but I noticed hes been leaving the house more often, so i asked him, and he was honest with me. I raised my son to be open with me with everything and he tells me a lot.

Maybe you need some boundaries with your son, actually.

As an adult, there is really no reason you need to know who he's having sex with and how often. Unless you're the guy who tries to bait people into arguring about age-gap relationships...

I want to know if my son is ok at his young age. He is only 18. if he is 21 he can keep everything to himself.
