Hi I’m 28F, was dating at 27M for seven months last year. Broke it off in August after he said he wasn’t ready for a relationship and went immediately NC after I told him I needed space. He still wanted to see with no title, which I declined. Fast forward to now, almost a year NC and he swiped right on me on Facebook. His profile still said looking for casual/friendship. I swiped left so fast. Disappointed but not surprised lol.

Good on you for declining. I would just ignore him and keep moving forward. He already showed you where he stood when he said he wasn’t ready for a relationship but still wanted the benefits of having you around without the commitment you were looking for. Almost a year later, seeing that his profile still says he’s looking for something casual tells you a lot.

Happens all the time. People often just continue to like photos regardless if they have any intention of talking to them or meeting them again. Swiping is basically just saying hi and you say hi to people you know.
