If your in a platonic relationship,

Is it cheating if you have one of sexual encounters with other women?

You must be fun at parties.

Platonic implies no romantic or sexual feelings. That would be a friendship. It's not cheating if you are to have romantic or sexual encounters with someone else.

If you feel it would be cheating, that raises the question of rather or not it is just platonic or if there might be deeper feelings involved.

If you are in the process of that friendship becoming something more, trying to figure out where things stand, then best not to do anything with someone else. It may not be technically cheating, but it's still an unnecessary complication and betrayal of someone's trust in you. You owe it to yourself and the other person to figure out what your relationship is before seeing anyone else.

Good point and it's really not possible to fully be in a relationship with someone else if you still have lingering feelings for someone else. It would only bring yourself more confusion! I've been a long time lerker but I'm finally understanding you have a point.
