LacesLoveLace Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Dating a man in prison; a man that spent 29 of his 49 years alive behind bars is beyond challenging. I don’t even know how to explain this other than just how it is. For the last 10 years going on 11 he an I have been off and on and during the last 10 years he has done 3 years then 2 years then 1 year and now sitting back in county waiting trial for all this new crap. Now there isn’t just me a 4 year old little girl has joined the hectic mess. He promised he wouldn’t go back but let me be real with you getting a person to not goto jail who’s spent more than half their life behind bars is going to be near impossible. He talks the talk says all the right things but then when the attitude changes it’s all back guarantee he gets a bung of charges within 6 month it will happen. He justifies the wrong doings as they are not wrong because and he’s got some good words but s*** float's and ships sink. Then when he goes back it’s oh baby I love you you hear me it’s us for the rest of time. Then he gets out and it’s what’s up girl; but only a short amount of time do I actually get the real man behind the gangster he lives in real life. Known by any criminal and is so sexy but at the end of the day what am I really doing?

stillafool Posted May 4 Posted May 4 I knew a woman like you who was in love with an off and on prisoner who couldn't stay out of trouble or prison. Come to find out he liked going back to prison because of the sexual activity he was having in there.

MsJayne Posted May 5 Posted May 5 What is it about a fool that is so sexy? Why would you want someone who's obviously an unhealthy influence around your child? Is the child his? I have no words of advice other than to rid yourself of this person, just stop contacting him immediately. Aside from that I can tell you about my aunt, an overly-compassionate woman who thought she could change a person of bad character by giving him love and understanding. She corresponded with, and then began visiting, a prisoner for a couple of years prior to his release after a long sentence, (arson and attempted murder). She fell in love, and when he was released they made the permanent move to Greece where she owned one of those beautiful white stone cottages on a mountainside overlooking the Aegean Sea, on the island of Crete. The house was the proceeds of a divorce settlement and her security in her retirement. They got married there in a romantic traditional Greek ceremony and looked set to live happily ever after. Until he began beating her up, and then eventually emptied their shared bank account to buy a camper van in which he drove off into the Greek sunset with another woman. My aunt ended up losing her home and having to go back to the UK where she now struggles along in a rented council unit and suffers from chronic depression. This is the kind of reward you can expect when you care for someone who has no conscience.
