Guarod Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago My (32M) now ex (33F) used to be very unfaithful to me, she was my first girlfriend ever and I didn't lose my v til meeting her at 29. She cheated all the time for three years. These past 2 years, something snapped in me. I was no longer putting up with it, and I demanded she stop. She didn't, so I finally realized I'd needed to stay for experience, but no longer. And that's what I did. For the past five months, she's been in therapy for the infidelity and said she'd work on stopping. But I still left her just last night. As bad as this seems, people were making fun of me. To many, I was the "cu¢k" who let his wife cheat. People joked about how I'd pay for her trips to go with her "real boyfriends". It was years of humiliation, and it could've stopped if she stopped doing what she was doing. She had two years to stop cheating, she didn't, so I used her for what I could get from her and then ditched her. There's consequences for actions, simply put. Still, I told a close friend what I just did and they think I was wrong for using her, and they aren't sure if they can talk to me now. someone tell me if I did wrong here? Quote

Instead, you chose to humiliate and debase yourself by using her “for experience” while living in mutual disrespect and lack of anything approaching love. You should listen to your friend and reflect upon whatever issues have caused you to act that way before you start dating again Quote
ExpatInItaly Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I've read this story before and doubted its veracity even then. Think the OP is pulling our leg. Quote
