Author GuitarGuy7
So I decided not to ask her out. Instead, I want to keep her around as a friend as I believe it would be beneficial for doing so. Asking her out would be considered high-risk for a couple different reasons. The first is that I risk losing a connection and the potential to get invited to more group outings and in my industry, it's all about connections so you don't want to burn bridges. Secondly, you and a few other people have suggested that she is NOT interested and you guys have historically been right when I have asked about a woman's interest in the past. Even ChatGPT doesn't think she's romantically interested. Instead what I did was reach out to her and gave her details about another game night idea that I had and asked if she would like to get together and discuss it in further details. In the meantime, my plan is to start looking for women in The Philippines by talking to them online and if everything goes well, I will fly out in June. The Philippines is my best shot of finding a girlfriend or any sort of love life while I am still relatively young. I have very little chance of finding that if I stay in the United States. basil67
There was a guy who used to post here who met a woman in The Philippines. Last I heard, she had moved to the US and married him

Do you live with your parents? Wouldn't it make sense to try to live independently and see if that impacts your dating life before you go to a foreign country? Do you make enough money to attract a foreign woman?

Women like men who ask them out, show their romantic interest, court them, woo them. They don’t like men who ask strangers on a forum or an AI (!) “is she interested in me?” and then back off because the “risk is too high”. This is not a brave behavior at all, and women dislike it. Change this, and you’ll have more success in the future. 8 hours ago, GuitarGuy7 said: The Philippines is my best shot of finding a girlfriend or any sort of love life while I am still relatively young. Why, because there are some women over there who’ll gladly become “escort wives” of Americans and other assorted “first world” citizens? Do you really want that kind of “love”? Leihla_B
I would skip the trip and use dating apps to find Filipino women to date within a reasonable radius of where you live or want to live. The point above about the changing political climate by @SurfCity is smart to consider unless you're willing to stay where you go to find a woman. Otherwise, you may sink yourself financially only to learn that you can't bring this woman into your country, OR, the only reason the woman has taken up with you is to get into your country. That's not love.
Author GuitarGuy7
I don't have much of a choice. The Philippines is likely my only shot. I want to go there and date around, maybe sleep around. I can't have that sort of life in America.

Instead you'll either be paying for services or advertising for a bride
Dazedandconfused86
Sounds more like she feels bad for you and wants to just be a friend.
SurfCity
Isn't the language barrier going to make it hard to date around and sleep around with anyone who isn't a prostitute? You don't care if you lose your virginity to a prostitute? You want your first kiss to be with a prostitute?

What makes it any more likely wtih Filippina women? Unless, of course, you are stereotyping an entire population of women that you imagine are jjust chomping at the bit to date any American man that crossses thier path. What are you goig to do if you go there and don't find them swarming to be with you?
