What did you two used to chat about before you hung out together? You can always go back to that. All you need to do is send him a quick friendly text like you used to.

This way the mystery would be solved as to why he stopped replying. Even though your text was cold and not really requiring a reply. Maybe you did that to push him away?

As long as it takes.  Some people are in therapy for decades.

I was writing worse than this when I met him. This is how we met. It was texting like this, he saw how big my issue was. 

So do I and that is why you need to get back into therapy before you try to date given all you've said about how you are when you like a man.
