Yeah, I think she was more or less completely fair with me on the date. It kind of made me realise I still have a few reservations about hopping into something serious. On the other hand casual dating rarely stays casual for long in my experience and I'm not too excited by the thought of hopping on that merry-go-round again. I recently turned 30 and I'm definitely feeling a shift in terms of my attitudes toward dating but I'm not exactly sure where I stand yet. Something to work on going into the future. 1

That's fine that you're a bit confuddled. I don't think you should close your door on something serious. I say this, even having a conservative view of the world. Relationships don't necessitate marriage, if you want things. It's possible to have a serious adult relationship without major hassles, at least for a while.
