And that appears to be because you're seeing incompatibilities. I think you're telling yourself that you're anxious, but really, you don't seem all that into him as a person. Yes, he's into you and you have some common interests but the veneer seems to be losing lustre for you and you're realizing that perhaps your feelings just aren't there (or at least not to the extent that his are) and you're not actually that motivated to continue the relationship. 1
