homecoming Posted June 9, 2020 Share Posted June 9, 2020 I used to have a physical type when I was younger - but after dating about three people that fit that description, I went off that a bit. Since those three, I've dated a mixture of physical types, but I often involuntarily end up in relationships with more dominant people, which is something I'm trying to change! But personality-wise I would say I have - as an adult - preferred men who are funny, with a healthy sense of humor, humble, normal guys really. No drama. Not aggressive. Somebody who is confident doing his thing. No matter really what the “thing” is. And if they have their s*** together, I am usually all in. When I was younger, obviously the guy had to be hot as s*** and attractive and aggressive - the dominator in all situations. All that is so unattractive to me these days. For instance, if I find a guy has a really attractive personality, even though me might not be my physical ideal, I can find him attractive. And conversely, if a guy is physically my type, but his personality isn't - I won't find him attractive. I have dated guys I thought were HOT HOR HOT, but I always knew it would be a temporary thing because either they personality traits that wouldn't cut it as far as compatibility in the long run. And of course I have limits, a guy could have a really compatible personality, but if he has some of my physical deal breakers, it's not going to happen. My "type"? Smart, confident, a bit cocky, FUNNY, and did I mention smart? Physically - athletic, broad shoulders, good smile, nice eyes. Link to post Share on other sites

I do notice though not to change the subject that a lot of blonde girls like guys with dark hair and brown eyes. A lot of brunette girls like guys with blue eyes and light hair. Why is this a trend? (Pale, freckles, green eyes) I dated one like this in my younger years, and it was a total turn on. There was also one I was introduced to after my divorce... but it just didn't click. 2) Short girls. I dated a girl who was 4'7" when I was young, and loved her deeply. My current GF is 4'11". I don't know what it is... but they "Fit" so much better. When you are holding them... or lying in bed. (You don't have a face full of hair) I'm 6', so when we hug... her head is in my chest. 3) Not thin. I don't like to hold a girl and feel bones poking me. I'm not saying I wan't a "Big" girl... but I don't mind a little meat. 4) Intelligent enough to have good conversations. I simply don't do stupid. I want to be able to have a good conversation on current events, or about something she or I are passionate about. #4 is my only "Must have" point. I don't care if I have the most beautiful short ginger, with soft curves, and stunning green eyes standing in front of me... if she is STUPID... I will lose interest in one date. ThaWholigan Posted June 17, 2020 Share Posted June 17, 2020 I can't really say I've got a concrete type but there's definitely been a thread when it comes to who has peaked my interest - and it's usually girls who tend to have a bit of an aggressive demeanour. I'm not a particularly submissive guy at all but I'm relatively laid-back in comparison to most of the women I've been attracted to. Physically, that's varied over time but on average I've mostly been an absolute sucker for buxom, black/mixed raced/middle eastern or mediterranean women. Usually with dark brown eyes and curly hair.
