That's not good Mrin.  Can I ask where you are?

The frustrating thing about this is in the case of Covid-19, that we are told to isolate ourselves (ie. NOT go outside). I don't know how true the sunlight thing is, but I do know that if I've got a cold, my symptoms don't feel as bad if I'm outside. I suppose the way around it is stay away from people and don't touch anything!

Hanging out in the backyard (if you've got one) is probably ideal if you're sick and quarantined.

Crested Butte, CO.

Ya it is pretty scary right now. I just read that we have two new patients hospitalized. Assuming they're on ventilatorsthat means we're full. No more vents. We only have 2 right now (up from 1 last week). They just moved two previously hospitalized patients on to bigger hospitals and boom - filled right back up. Until these get moved on, well, we are kinda screwed if someone else needs a ventilator.

The two symptoms that are really usual for me are:

1. Exhaustion. And it comes in waves.

2. Loss of taste and smell. My runny nose has cleared up but I can't taste a damn thing. Nada. Zero. It is the weirdest sensation.

Do you have a national health helpline to call?

I had to call the NHS helpline because my son was coughing non stop with heavy chest pains abd flu-like symptoms and for what it's worth, the 2 main symptoms are high temp and continuous cough. You should self-isolate either way (7 days at home, no going out or contact). That's our protocol in the UK (herd immunisation, no testing, no lockdown).

Keep safe!
